JACKSON ULTIMA SIZE CHART
Here are a few tips to assist in selecting the correct size:
• Take measurements in the socks that will be used while skating.
• Stand on a sheet of paper.
• Have someone else place a mark at your longest toe and at your heel. The pen should be straight up and down to determine the proper length.
• Remove the foot and measure the distance between both marks in inches; repeat with your second foot.
• Using the longer measurement of your two feet, select the most appropriate size. Do not select a size that is smaller than the length of your longest foot.
Please Note:
• Determining skate size by comparing to street shoe sizing is difficult as both are sized for different movements; skates are sized to glide with little foot movement while shoes are sized to allow for more flex when walking.
• Skates generally have a snug fit to ensure the foot does not move; this type of fit may not suit everyone.
Sizing is provided as a guideline only and should not replace proper fitting completed by an authorized Jackson Ultima Retailer.

Bought these for me (50+ female!) to take recreational lessons after being off the ice for decades. They have great support and maybe even a bit too much as I needed to loosen the top lacing to move my ankle better. But ppl who are entirely new to skating might not have this problem? They were comfortable right out of the box and never bothered my feet with sores or cramping at all. I wear a medium weight hiking sock with them. And hv received a lot of compliments on their jazzy look! I just love them! Only caveat - they will need sharpening even though they have a bit of an edge right out of the box - it’s really not enough to grip the ice.

Whether you are competitive or just a little bit more of an avid skater, the mark 11 blade on this less expensive skate is awesome!..I would prefer a cross cut pick but for this price..I cannot complain. The only other thing I can say is I wish they had a width range to select from (I have wide dancer feet)..overall highly recommended if you don't want to spend 400 dollars
