We were on a dive trip when my wife's fin buckle broke (out on the dive boat, no extra fins available... lucky I always carry duct tape in my dive bag). Upon return, ordered this (even though the fins were 10 years old). Fortunately, it fit. I had to replace both the "male" end and the "female" end of the clip (the new clip insert did not fit the existing recepticle) but fortunately this item came with both, and the new recepticle side did in fact fit on the fin's rubber post. Much cheaper than a new set of fins, and I plan on getting a spare to keep in my dive bagt!
