I installed this controller to gain independent control of each sprinkler valve. Due to having a combination of dripoers and sprinklers and lawn and vegetable garden. I can irrigate more effectively. I paired it with a Irritrol RFS1000 Wireless Rain/Freeze Sensor.

I only needed the transmitter, but saw no other option, other than buying both. Pairing was a bit tricky, but successful. A video on the Internet provided the successful key. Product is made in China.Sadly, the ability for people to comment on a review has been taken away. I used to enjoy reading those comments, it helped me make my reviewing better and it allowed customers to help each other. Sometimes comments by the manufactures were also helpful.

I am very disappointed with this product. My husband who is an engineer and installs everything handily could not get this to pair with our unit. He followed the instructions and even watched installation videos on YouTube without success. We finally decided to call our landscaper to install the unit but he never was able to fit us into his schedule.The return time has since passed and we are stuck with the Irritrol Sensor. So unfortunate!

I received the wrong item & promptly returned it as per instructions. For a while I could only get automated responses asking if I'm enjoying this. I wasn't enjoying this. I did received the correct item today & expect it will work just fine.

Installed two Irritrol wireless sensors easily on Orbit controllers. Works well with rain but have not yet tested the freeze sensors. I have had Irritrol sensors at previous homes and I know these will also work in cold weather. Good purchase at competitive price.

This product replaces a previous edition that quit working after seven years! It fit perfectly with my watering system -- installation was a snap! Would recommend to all.

I just needed the transmitter to replace a broken one but had to purchase both the transmitter and receiver. The synchronization between the new transmitter and old receiver was easy and the unit functions as advertised.
