The wood is rough & unfinished which is uncomfortable but also hard to clean, it's so light that you have to fight to get ink through the screen. If you're just starting out you might buy these but long term you'll want to upgrade.

We aren't using it for screen printing, but instead we added a piece of felt to the squigee and use for our sign making. It works perfect.

Nicely made, very smooth handle and feels sturdy. I have never used one of these, so don't have any other product to compare it, but seems like great quality.

I was not sure which squeegee to purchase for screen printing. After lots of research online, I decided to purchase this one. I prefer the wooden handle, not that I have had an aluminum one I just couldn't fathom an aluminum one being comfortable to grasp. It works perfectly and arrived as described. I loved the size and will be purchasing more of this one and a couple in the other durometer sizes for various types of screen prints.

I'm a home hobbyist and this squeegie works very well. I am not a shop or commercial printer. I have not used the expensive ones so I can't tell you how it compares to those but its much better than the crummy speedball one that came with my screen printing starter kit. I buy the bigger size and then cut them down into the sizes that I need. It's much cheaper than buying the same ones in smaller sizes.
