My son wanted some new trucks for his board. I had never seen a good 3/4's of the company names/brands he was listing. So, what is child of the 70's to do? Turn to what you know worked for you and all of your heathen friends!!! INDEPENDENT all the way!! They are solid, slick, sexy and look just how mine looked when I was in Junior High!! He loves them and they are exactly as I remembered them, ROCK SOLID!!-0

Indy 129's delivered to my door at a great price, free of shipping charges, what's not to love there?! Taller than my Mini-Logos w/1/4" risers. I anticipate less wheel bite. Mounted on a Local5 Longboards 7.75 Fish Stick street deck with 53mm Powell Peralta wheels. I switched to Bones medium bushings (what I like) after the pictures. Haven't hit the streets yet, too cold. Work good on the mini ramps and fun box in my basement.

Haven't skated in 8 years so I have no idea what's good anymore. Saw that Independent was STILL making trucks so I grabbed these. I LOVE THESE, they turn incredibly well, they are very resilient, not so great for grinds as the metal isn't polished, but these trucks are built to last and you can feel it. My favorite thing is the bushings, they provide excellent turning ability yet they provide good support when doing trucks. My only gripe is the weight.
