This Hurley utility crossbody bag is perfect for a leisurely day out around town. It looks a little bit like a fanny pack, but it's actually designed to be worn across one shoulder, in either the front or back of the body. It's really comfy to carry and it looks great with a casual outfit.There is a very generously sized main pocket that has a smaller pocket inside that can hold your wallet and keys, clipped to the attached key clip. The larger part of the main compartment can be used for all of your essentials, and is easily big enough for a standard sized, water bottle. You could also fit a larger, hydroflask type bottle, but it's obviously going to be a lot weightier, so I stick to a regular water bottle and some snacks. There is also a microfiber lined pocket behind the main compartment that can be used to carry and protect your sunglasses or phone.This is a nice simple bag for when you need a little bit of storage but don't want to be weighed down with a big backpack or messenger bag. The tag that was attached to the bag says the recommended price is $40, so at the current price of less than $20, this is a bargain!

The bag's design is simple and stylish. Its fabric is waterproof and durable. The other pocket has more storage space, the zipper span is large, and the bag's contents are at a glance, making it easy to find the items you want. My husband and I like to cruise, but as you know, when you go into port you really don't want to carry a whole of stuff and you need something that can be secured. This fanny pack was a great option, so I ordered it.What I like about this:* Black color, so it goes with a lot of different outfits* Large inside area that can fit a phone, wallet, keys, chapstick, passport, and any other necessities* Solid clip* Hurley, so you know it is good quality* Belt can fit through belt loops* Inside key attachment* Inside zip pocket for smaller items* Water resistantCons:* I wish it had an outside pocket but it does have a bunge cord so you can hold more items.Experience: My husband is picky, so I was a bit worried as I ordered this without asking his opinion first. He actually took it out of the package gave it a look and opened it up, then nodded his head. His way of saying he approves. Definitely worth the piece of mind.

I got this to use at amusement parks. While it's the offseason I haven't been able to use it yet, but examining upon arrival I'm impressed and excited to try it out. The material seems very sturdy, the strap is adjustable and there seem to be plenty of secure space inside. I particularly like the internal zipper pocket to keep things like keys separate from your phone or sunglasses to prevent scratches.

It was worth the wait.This new cross body bag from Hurley is just what the doctor ordered.Let’s call it what The Rock would call it. It is a fanny pack!It is easily adjusted.It has three pockets (one is inside the main pouch) and an exterior bungee system to hold towels so shirt or something like that.The interior pocket also has a key clip.This bag is ideal for hiking or any travel.

In the spring, I regularly fish the riprap on dams, and carrying a backpack makes it harder to balance on the rocks. I wanted something very small I could pack a few jerkbaits in. This bag just barely fits a small Plano 3500 tackle box, and leaves enough room for pliers, a tape measure, a bag of plastics, etc. I like that it is water resistant. The external bungee allows you to clip braid scissors or clippers on the outside..The buckle works well, and the strap adjusts easily. There is a padded pocket up against the body, presumably for a phone or tablet, and then a small zippered compartment inside the bag that is great for keys. The material is good and the stitching is solid, yet the bag is very lightweight. I am extremely happy with this bag.

Like another reviewer, I have no idea what to use the bungee cord for, but it can be removed (and re-added) pretty easily.Plenty of space inside. Separate valuables pocket (with the zipper INSIDE the bag) is a nice touch.Well-made, from the zippers to the clip to the seams to the bag itself. The material isn't my favorite. A bit crinkly and noisy. I think I'd prefer canvas. But that's just personal preference.

When I first saw this, I chuckled at the fanny pack. Having grown up in the 80/90's, I'm used to mocking the neon fanny packs I frequently saw. I ended up doing a search for the difference between a fanny pack and crossbody bag. I'm happy to report that, while you could wear this as a fanny pack, it really is a crossbody bag. The clasps extend long enough that you can comfortably wear it across your body (or at least I can) instead of just around your waist. Somehow I'm comfortable with having this slung across my chest, but have flashbacks to nerds pulling out MTG cards from their fanny packs, so I just can't wear this around my waist. I got the black one which is muted and has a reasonably stylish look. While it won't be a fashion statement for me, Hurley has at least helped offset some childhood trauma. With plenty of pockets and storage space, I may be coming around...
