I bought this to convert my existing wheels to work with a new boost fork. I was under the impression I also need to move my disc. With this part you do not need to shim the disc and the re dish is also minimal; I needed less than a half a twist of the spokes to revenged the rim. The spacer installs on the non disc side. Beyond my ordering of some spacers for the disc that I did not need the install is easy.
