Return them the day I got them in theory. These things would probably be pretty great however they don't really work too well with staying on the rod I noticed they would slide up and down and they really weren't all that great.

This hook keeper works well to secure hooks/ lures. I fish some soft plastics “Texas rigged” or weedless. This makes it easy to secure the hook where many rod hook keepers are difficult. It is well made and a good size. Does not get in the way when casting. Overall, it is a beneficial product.

Nice product. Perfect for those rods that don't include a hook keeper.I'm just an ordinary catch-and-release angler that uses primarily ultra light spinning gear and a range of fly rods since I enjoy tying flies and fish for everything from sunfish to largemouth bass in still warm waters.For $2.50/rod, these hook keepers can provide a permanent hook keeper on favorite rods or hook keepers that can easily be moved to another rod.I generally break down my (multi-part) rods after fishing, but still find these extremely handy when using several rods and moving about and for a quick pack down when I'm ready to quit for the day.

I was thinking of having a rod builder friend of mine wrap a hook holder onto three of my rods. then I ran across these,While not super excited about the o-ring attachment it works well and it’s a super easy install. For me the winning design features are the rubber material on the bottom of the clip, its concave shape and the magnet, Also if you take your hooks off at the end of a trip butt still want to use the hook holder it’s possible. I just tie a loop in my line and run it through the hook holder and secure it under the bottom edge of the holder. Highly recommend.

Most of my rods have either a hook saver or a cork handle, but there are a couple that I'm always fighting trying to keep line tension with a hook on an eyelet. This makes it super easy to keep your hook secured to the rod, minimizing hooking something, or someone, unintentionally. Since you can slide it up or down your line, it makes it really easy to keep the right amount of line pressure on the hook so you don't unspool.Did I ever think I'd use something like this? No. Am I glad I tried it? Definitely yes.

A designed hook keeper is functional. But also not in the way when fishing the rod. Perfect for fishing rods not built with a hook keeper if you use one on the rod.

These little hook holders are pretty clever and easy to use. The best part is the convenience. The way they attach is quick and easy and can be used with a variety of different sized rods. Definitely recommend.

These fishing hook keepers are a reel asset (see what i did there) to your fishing tackle. They two o ring choices will be sure to fit your big or small rod. The keepers are magnetic so your hook will have another reason to stay in place in addition to the loop. The o ring holds it securely to the rod and it doesn’t move. 5 star so far.
