The radios I have say APX 7000 but when I put the radio in it sticks out about half an inch at the bottom is that normal..I was told it's probably a 7500 radio

This has worked well when I’m wearing civilian clothes but need my radio. Would not recommend for full duty just because it only fits regular belts. Radio fits perfect. Sometimes I wish it would come out easier but then it would probably fly out so at the least the fit does not let the radio go flying.

These radio hiksters are very comfortable and ride the belt with ease. These holsters are very comfy and are light. The plastic one is the one I find to be the best. Its perfect for a regular radio and regular battery, if you have the bigger bottomed battery it is still pretty good but slight difficulty getting it out of the holster. But the holster with clip action works really good and off of the belt with ease.
