The DIY Stick Repair System from Bison Hockey Sticks is a permanent repair system that will repair most senior composite hockey sticks. The kit comes with everything you’ll need to repair your broken hockey stick shaft. It uses a custom designed composite sleeve and high strength epoxy to fuse your broken hockey stick back together. *** How to order?*** The inside diameter of most composite sticks are very similar in size but there are slight differences. To determine which of the “kit” sizes will work best for your stick just follow these 3 simple steps: ***1. Make two straight cuts across your broken stick shaft. One below and one above the broken area. Cut as little off the shaft as possible but be sure to cut and remove all of the broken area. Usually this is an area of 1 to 2 inches in total length. ***2. Carefully measure and record the inside diameter (ID) of the cleanly cut shaft opening closest to the blade (lower shaft). Your measurements should be made in millimeters (mm). Record your measurements to the closest one-half (.5) millimeter. ***3. Select the DIY Repair System kit size that most closely matches your measurement. Easy to follow instructions are provided with each kit. Instructional videos are also available for viewing on YouTube. Search for "Hockey Stick Repair Kit by Bison Hockey Sticks".

Repair kit worked perfectly. Just follow the directions provided. It was great to salvage my very expensive stick that was fairly still new, and broke (in the shaft) on a freak play ! The stick is like "new" now without too much change to the flex. Great product!

Sometimes broken sticks can't be saved. With these a clean break mid shaft is no biggy with a little time. Can change the whip a little but so far nothing crazy

Got a broken 1N from the trash after a game. Found out about this repair method. I spoke with Rob at Bison a few times and he was very helpful. The shaft was broken near the blade where there is a lot of taper with odd dimensions. I ended up getting a larger insert and sanding it down a ton in order to get it to fit. I was fearful that I significantly weakened the insert by removing so much material. Used the stick for the first time expecting failure. No such thing occurred, the stick has held up great in two games so far, plus lots of shots on the shooting pad. I am 6'3'' 230 lbs and I can lean into a slapper and the repair holds up even with the thinner insert. Doesnt seem to change flex point too much (I never used the stick when it was new) a little heavier, but not noticeable. So a $200 broken stick brought back to life with a $30 repair and 20 minutes of work.

This is the third time I've purchased this hockey stick repair system from Bison. I find the results to be amazing & I actually enjoy the process of repairing the sticks. I've repaired a Bauer Total One 1S & Bauer Nexus 1N (both $250+ sticks). One time I even created a hybrid Franken-stick by joining together half of a Bauer Nexus (top portion) & half of a Reebok 10k stick (blade portion).. (I found both sticks broken at the rink)...the results were excellent....I highly recommend this product. In addition...I seen someone write something on here regarding the wooden but end extension (that comes with the kit) being lose after instillation. This is actually something that can happen with any end plug extension purchased anywhere. Composite sticks of different brands & models are all hollowed out somewhat differently & there really isn't an exact standard size end plug that will fit perfectly in every composite stick. An easy remedy to this potential issue is to shim or fatten up the insert end of the end plug by incrementally adding half strips of hockey tape to all four sides of it until it fits in the hockey stick nice and snug after applying heat to it...you'll get great results every time.

Brought my Easton back to life. Kit worked great. Repaired my broken Easton Stealth CX. Used the 15.5x26mm size kit, still going strong after two weeks of practice and a few games.
