I’m not an athlete, just a clutz. My shin bone protrudes through my skinny legs and I get some serious injuries.I’m wearing these when I’m doing yard work or any chores I might need the safety. My scarring in the photo is from old injuries.Washing is simple and they hold up well.

My kid has some sensory issues with clothing and I knew that shin guards would be challenging. He loves soccer so I had to find a pair that works. He loves this pair and has not complained once! It’s great because it’s flexible and softer… there is also no foot which is nice. Def recommend!

I had to find something to protect my shins during Judo (and BJJ). I didn’t realize at the time that they were marked as “for kids and young adults.” I’m a 5 foot 6 inch woman and the size I bought (XX-large) fit me anyway (but I have thick calves). The hexagon foam protection makes it easy for the guards to mold to your leg. They don’t slip down. And they’re so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them until I get home from the gym and change my clothes. They aren’t complete protection. I definitely still feel when someone’s toe or knee slams into my shin. But my goal isn’t to prevent initial pain so much as it is to reduce lasting injury (bruising), so this works for me for now.The instructions say to hand wash, which I did a few times. But now I put them in a laundry bag with a shirt as protective padding against the agitator of the washer, and then let the guards air dry. They’re still in new condition.Overall I am satisfied with these for now, until I see I may need more padding.

These shinguards are super comfortable, quick to take on and off, and do a good job of protecting my leg. I've played soccer my whole life and these are the best shinguards I've used.

After my dd got hit in the shin with a line drive while pitching we decided to find something comfortable to protect that area. She already has soccer shin guards but they are hard plastic and not super comfortable and we didn’t want her to have to wear those to pitch in. These are the perfect solution. They are light weight, breathable and the padded area conforms to the leg for a smooth/moveable protection that doesn’t interfere with her pitching. We will probably only use these for softball and keep her hard plastic for soccer. I would not recommend these for that type of situation as I don’t think it would be adequate protection. We found they are true to size and fit my super thin 10 year old like a glove.

The product itself is quite good, light weight, easy to wash, comfortable to wear, does not move around much as long as you buy the right size (make sure you use the size chart to pick the right one, too small and it won't be comfy for long term use, and too big then it may not stay in place). However, for more technical MTB rides, this may not be the best item (basic green trails should be fine) since the padding is quite thin for that sort of activity. However for sports like football, it should be fine for some amount of protection on the shin (of course depending on the impact)
