It's strong, leak proof so far and love the handles which makes it easy to tie and carry out. The thing I didn't appreciate was the way all 45 bags were cramped into a small box, which I more suitable for 4 and 8 gallon garbage bags. I thought they would come in a bigger box.

These are awesome but I wish I could get them in Canada. I use them as laundry bags for my trucker husband and they last for many uses.

These bags are excellent. We started using them in 2018 after the equivalent bag from (Glad I think) was no longer available. Since then I've only had one failure, when I tried to stuff some sort of sharp-ended wire like a coat hanger into it. If you're not familiar with this type of bag, there is no drawstring; the two handles are used to tie the top. You never have to worry about a broken drawstring, it seals much better than the ones with four ears, and you still have a handle to carry it out with. Highly recommended; a great value.

Strong, roomy, easy to carry when full, great price. Less than $25 for 90 bags in a dispenser box which sits neatly on a shelf in my home office. Comes in two rolls in the box. Pull out bag as needed and tear off easily. I like that I don't have to think about getting garbage bags from the supermarket. I also use these bags to line a bin in the kitchen with recyclables. Empty the bag at the transfer station and the bag can be used again and again.

These bags are fantastic! I bought them 6 months ago and have loved them every day I've had them! Great size, great strength, easy to put in my can and take out, easy to tie up before putting in my outdoor garbage can. Nothing has torn the plastic nor leaked out from any of the bags. Would highly recommend these, and I will definitely be purchasing again!

This is probably the best heavy duty 13 gal garbage bag that I have ever used. All of them are too flimsy for my kitchen garbage but this one does the job! It will not puncture or tear and it makes it easy to throw out the garbage without any worry of spills or dropping a heavy bag! It costs a little bit more but is totally worth it!

These are great bin bags as they are very strong and have handles that make pulling out of the bin when their full and tying them up easy. Don't know why they're so hard to find and becoming very pricey at that

These are the absolute best bags! They roll from the box very easily and the loop handles are much better for tying up the bag than those plastic pieces in other bags or those little round "ears" that are never long enough to tie. I'm on my 5th box since I started using them a few years ago (there are two large rolls in each box). Hippo Saks are sturdy, do not leak, and are a staple in my home.

I’ve used Hippo Sacs for 10 years in the kitchen and have never had one leak! I used to be able to buy them in my local grocery store but they have quit stocking them.

Edited note: I have bought these again. I'm so very pleased with these trash bags. A 45 count box lasts me for a few months because I can fit so much trash into ONE bag. I'm still convinced these are the best trash bags on the planet.These are the best trash bags, EVER!! I hate trash bags that don't open right, don't set in the trash can correctly, and always fall in the minute I throw garbage in the can. Every trash bag I've ever used, all those popular brands you find on the shelfs at the stores, have always had to be readjusted to let the air out that gets trapped between the bag and the trashcan. Then the same bags claim to be tough and yet, tear through. Also, the handles, both the pull strap and the non-pull strap always tear or break, always!!I love how these bags open wide and set right down in the garbage can. They don't need to have air let out, they don't need to be pushed down in the bottom when I first put them in the can. The handles lay over and hug the outside and, the bag doesn't sink in when I throw trash in. I have purposely overloaded and pushed as much garbage as I can into the bag to test the strength. I have not had one tear yet, not a single one!! The handles are nice and strong and wide and tie over each other to hold the garbage in, so nice and no struggle involved! They pull out of the trash can easily, too. I don't have to fight with the push and pull and griping at the trash bag when trying to pull it out when it's full.I had requested a sample of these from some freebie site awhile back, and I was hooked!! I'm glad Hippo Sak has them in stock on Amazon, and they are reasonably priced. The ones you find on the shelf at the stores are definitely overpriced, as they do not stand up to the test. These Hippo Sak Trash Bags need to be THE ONLY bag on the market!! They put any other bag to shame!!If these ever go out of style I'm going to throw a fit!! Thank you Hippo Sak for creating a trash bag that is hassle free, self explanatory in opening, one that lets me stuff the heck out of it, and one that ties with ease. I would never have dreamed I would be so ecstatic over a garbage bag! But garbage bags are a necessity, and no pun intended but it's great to find a trash bag that I'm not throwing money away on!!
