The external box cover wasn’t too bad and I expected a new Hikvision sealed box and this definitely wasn’t the case. The casing looks squashed and the NVR had dirts on it. This is probably a returned item. I am travelling Friday hence am not in a position to return this otherwise definitely would have done so.I really hope it works properly once I connect it up.

I even tried another one from the same company, but it would not connect to my 4 IP cameras.This one even being cheaper in price it actually worked the first time I connected it to my internet and found all 4 of my IP cameras. I didn't go into the settings and change any of the manufacturers settings.After powering the NVR up and did my search for my IP cameras the system was able to locate and connect to all my cameras.I had tried several different makes and models from several different manufacturers and I found this was the only one that worked with 3rd party IP cameras.So far all I can say is I finally got the one that works and so far I love it.It solved all my problems of being able to view all my cameras on my TV with this model of NVR PLAYER.Update:This NVR is still working great.I have 5 outside security camera connected to my NVRI also purchased a internal hard drive to store all my recording of activities that were picked up by my security cameras.NOTE:I just checked Amazon website and they are currently unavailable and not sure if it will be offered again.Just a suggestion, to the manufacturer to bring it back to others who need a great NVR that actually works with and 3rd party IP security cameras.Thanks again for a great easy setup NVR that I would recommend and stand by the NVR that solved all my problems of 3rd party outside security cameras.
