This is a nice goalie set. The jersey is brightly colored and quite attractive. The padding is a bit lighter than the padding in my son's other jersey, but no big deal. The pants are also lightly padded compared to his padded knee pads - obviously. But if you want robust protection, you'll want knee pads, not a padded pant.I struggled with the sizing. My son is 7 years old. He's approximately 48 inches tall, and around 70 pounds. He wears a size Medium or Large in standard american sizes. He wears a size 10 pant. These fit on him, but they were too long in both the sleeves and the pants, so they are clearly meant for someone much more slim than him - he's a muscular and stocky boy.But he likes them, so that's all that matters.

Nicely padded set (wasn’t expecting all of the nice padding on the pants), but it runs quite big in terms of length. The sleeves, pants, and general shirt length are all very long compared to the size listed. Vibrant colors and moisture wicking fabric combined with the padding give this great potential but size down!
