I've never tried making resin projects before, so I was a little nervous about doing it. I watched a few YouTube videos and built up some confidence before opening the box. I was surprised at how many supplies were included. The instructions were very easy to follow. I didn't get too fancy with my first one, but I did make sure there were no bubbles. Demolding is definitely as fun as they say it is! Now that I've tried it, I will definitely be doing more and trying more adventurous color mixing. Now I need to start buying more molds!

This kit literally has everything you could possibly need to make really cute photo frames. Mixing and measuring cups, wooden stirrers, finger gloves, all sorts of pretty mica powders and two different mica powders, gold leaf and silver leaf, and they even included the plastic sheets to make the crinkle texture, laminating sheets, not to mention a good quantity of resin and hardener and the mold. The instruction booklet is very thorough and easy to understand, which is a nice change . Often when I order craft kits they are translated from Chinese and it is difficult to understand. I don't know that I would recommend the kit for kids unless it is with strict adult supervision. It is definitely a good value, tons of stuff, more than I expected, for the price

I have always wanted to try doing resin projects. But to be honest, it always looked daunting. This kit has changed my mine, and broadened my horizons in the crafting world.The instructions are so easy to follow. Step by step. It truly is not as hard as I thought it was. The amount of materials in the kit is a great value. The product is quality and the mold is a good starting point for other products. There was no strong odor to put you off the project. There is enough resin left to do another project.This kit is something that would be fun for anyone who wants to do a craft project. I can't wait to explore this avenue of crafting further.

I am an absolute beginner. Like such a beginner I had NO CLUE what resin was other than cheap looking jewelry. This kit has everything you need to dip your toes in the resin world. It’s so fun and easy, the price is phenomenal. My first one came out great and no bubbles! Apparently bubbles are a bad thing lol

This 1:1 ratio mix is quite easy to work with. You do not get much resin in total for this beginners batch, but it would do for a small project, or jewelry, keychains, charms. Just wish the set had come with molds for the forementioned instead of the molds that do come with. For the amount of resin, it would make more sense. There was only some bubbling and they came out nice and crystal clear.

I’ve worked with a lot of different epoxy resins over the years for my craft projects, and this one turned out to be a pretty good choice. The kit is small, but it’s just the right size for making jewelry, small resin molds, or adding a clear coat to a project. I followed the instructions exactly, mixing equal parts of resin and hardener, and it blended smoothly without a lot of bubbles. I always let my resin sit for a couple of minutes after mixing to help any bubbles rise to the top, and this one seemed to clear out nicely.The finish came out crystal clear, which is what I was hoping for. Some resins tend to get cloudy or yellow over time, but so far, this one is holding up well. It also self-leveled pretty well without needing much help from me, which is always a plus. I didn’t notice any strong smell either, which is nice since I have to be careful with strong fumes.I used this to make a few small jewelry pieces and to coat a little wooden charm, and they all turned out looking really nice. The drying time was about what I expected, and everything cured hard and smooth without being tacky. I’d say this is a good resin for smaller projects, but if you’re working on bigger pieces, you’d need to order a larger kit. Overall, I’m happy with it and will probably order more when I run out.

Whether you're just starting out or want to add to your current collection of resin and molds, the HeyClear Epoxy Resin Molds Silicone Starter Kit is an excellent choice. It comes with resin, of course, that is fairly bubble free if you take your time stirring and mix it thoroughly, 12 colours each of glitter flakes and fine glitter, 3 colours of metallic flakes, a few dried flowers, tweezers, 5 plastic droppers, 10 wooden stir sticks, 8 measuring cups, two pairs of Nitril gloves, 1 square mold, 1 spherical mold, 1 pyramid mold, 1 coaster mold, 1 faceted heart mold, and a silicone mat to keep your worksurface clean. The pyramid, spherical, and square molds could easily be used for Orgonite creations, which makes this kit at the price of $22.99 USD (as of March 2025) well worth it. The molds are well made, release without needing a release agent, and clean up well with a neutral (water based) baby wipe. Overall, this is a good kit for novices and pros, and I definitely recommend it.

I haven’t used the actual resin yet. Honestly purchased because the price was too good to pass up. The dried flower selection and colors were cute though and I feel like the resin will work just fine
