When I order this cosplay sword I was thinking if it look like a toy I'm gonna return it. Definitely not the case. Looks realistic. Solid foam material. Looks shape but it's not. Very pleased for what you pay for. Good size to. Where your play with the kids in the back yard or going to a costume party this sword is a must have.

The foam is far too hard to be safe for LARP sword fighting. I bought of the swords and they arrived bent and warped to the side. After an hour of light sword fighting with my child. The tip had broken off of one and the paint was flaking off.

It's a bit too thin and light of a sword to be a cutlass, but it's great for sword practice and LARPing- the design is minimalistic and very pirate-like, and the only problem I have with it is it's ridiculous blade tip- it's a rapier, not a saif sword. I cut it off and it looks and works great! Would recommend for children, young-adults and adults who want to practice dexterity before moving on to something heavier.

I purchased this for "Pirate Night" aboard a Disney Cruise. It's lightweight but strong. It looks great and has a good feel in your hands.

Not bad. Surprisingly sturdy and feels durable with a nice weight to it for fun flourishes. The hand gaurd is real soft and flimsy but that's in the case of you, purposefully grabbing it and messing with it. The paint job was decent. Theres a spot not show in the pic of the paint kinda of scuffed a bit, but i plan to modify this and repaint it, so im not bothered. But the scuff isnt much of an eye so to warrant a bad response its typical with foam weapons that are mass produced. Overall a very surprisingly nice and quality product. Packaging also was def better than i expected. Came in a large rectangular box stuff to prevent it from tumbling around and getting shipping damage. Def something i plan to buy again. USPS was a pain in the ass about shipping, but that's an issue with my post office not ever delivering my mail after a certain time properly. But i did recieve it the day after it was estimated. Still worth it. Especially for cost.

I have mixed feeling about this sword. It's absolutely perfect for LARP and cosplay, the quality is very sturdy. The handle seems pretty sturdy too. It's even got a little weight to it.Now for the cons, I purchased mine from Phoenix's Treasures here on Amazon. In the description it said there were differences in the paint and minor defects. Well, the entire sword is silver, the handle is not painted at all. I thought maybe there were chips in the paint, not parts unpainted. It doesn't match the picture at all in that aspect, but I'm hoping some of my own paint will stay on it and I can fix it myself. The minor defects were thankfully minor, not a big deal, but they lost a star from me for not being more specific on the paint issue. They lost another star for the way it was shipped. The handle and tip were protected with cardboard wrapped and taped around them, but the entire thing was wrapped up in a black plastic bag? Then it was taped up and it became an utter nightmare to get off. I don't usually complain but after five minute and having to tediously cut away parts of the bag until I could unravel the product I was eager to see was not fun. Lost another star for that.As I said before, the shipping and paint job aside, it's perfect for larp and cosplay. Being as it was only $5 plus shipping, I'm very pleased with it.
