I'm not using this for Coffee or anything Hot. I got this to use as a Water Dispenser that I can use at the desk in my computer room during the day and then I put into my Bathroom at night.I have horrible tasting hard tap water here in my Condo. So, I have an excellent water filtration system setup in my Kitchen for my Drinking and Cooking water. I manually make Ice Cubes with that water as well. I can fill this 1/3 with Ice and then the rest with my Great Tasting Water from a pre-cooled Glass Jug from the Refrigerator. This lasts me all day now without having to keep leaving the computer to cold get water.Pro Tip: When filling a glass or cup from this hold the Pump Lever DOWN until the Liquid completely stops before letting it go back up to pump again. This keeps it primed well and then once you have finished, it will not drip. That's been my experience so far anyway. ZERO water drips from this after filling a glass.It been great for my purpose and I highly recommend it.

we are coffee drinkers and start out the day early with a cup or two. Through the day we may end up having a couple of more. Often it's just the two of us, but sometimes we have helpers and that means we may end up going through 12 to 20 cups of coffee some days. Rather than brewing it multiple times, it makes more sense to make a large carafe and serve it up through the day This serves that purpose ideally And is more efficient than keeping the brewer on low heat. It avoids that over toasted taste at the end of the day. Anyone can take as much as they want, whenever. I have filled this in the morning of one day and still had warm coffee 24 hours later.This would be perfect for picnics, community events any sort of meeting. Not many individual homes would need this capacity, But having a large thermos handy will serve a lot of different needs. This is commercial quality and should hold up for many years. It's easy to open and fill. It has a great carry handle. It's easy to pump. It seems to hold temperature very well. Thumbs up if you need the capacity.

If you have tea parties or guests over I think having a good decent large thermos is solid advice.You can take this on the go as well but its best on a tabletop since it swivels. I like the push dispenser design and it it is stainless inside which is a plus but the spout is BPA-free plastic which even though its BPA free its still plastic and its still touches hot water.Im giving it 5 stars because we rarely use it and it does its job well but the plastic is something I really dont like about it. other than that its a solid product. I dont know of other dispensers that have metal dispensers so I cant comment on a better alternative.This one fits the bill and works great.

this thermal carafe served us well during the summer days, i felt like the carafe was able to keep both our hot and cold liquids at the right temperature for the whole day. even after 6 hours or so, i felt that the hot tea that we poured inside was still boiling hot and same with the lemonade we had. it was still nice and chilled and we didn't even add any ice to supplement, just left it in the fridge and it stayed the same temp. it is also a pretty big carafe so it can accommodate at least a pitchers worth of drink.
