  • Hellwig Sway Bars tighten up body roll so you benefit from better vehicle control, greatly improved traction for safer driving and faster cornering.
  • Hellwig Sway Bars are an extremely effective handling upgrade you can make to your vehicle.
  • Hellwig sway bars offer quick bolt on installation that are engineered to perform.
  • Though most vehicles come equipped with factory installed sway bars, they are often insufficient at controlling body roll and error torwards an understeer condition.
  • Hellwig sway bars feature larger than stock diameters and precision engineered components to optimize handling and reduce body roll.

Sway bars, or more accurately anti-roll bars, are designed to resist a vehicle’s tendency to pitch from side to side during cornering, improving cornering ability and making for a more comfortable controlled ride. Sway bars are among the most cost effective and dramatic improvements that you can make to your vehicle regardless of whether it’s a truck, muscle car, tow rig, or RV. Sway bars are also typically easy to install, making them a great first upgrade for anyone who wants a little more control out of their ride.

Bolted up really easily. Took me about 45 min myself to install. Drove my rv up on blocks so I could fit under easier. Use ford bolts on axle mounts. They have a smaller head size making it easier to tighten

I have put this on two class C motorhomes, one 28' and one 23' and have been very happy with the result both times. The body moves around a lot less, and I feel it gets pushed around less by passing trucks, but at least it feels less dramatic. Only downside is when my significant other gives me the side eye for passing cars going up the canyon. Although there is a lot of talk online about other chassis upgrades, this is the only one I've done and firmly believe it gives you a noticeable improvement for the price. I've installed both of them myself, it's a straight forward bolt on, the only part that's hard is holding it up while you get the bolts started. I did it by myself once. Once. The other time I had my nephew under there helping and it went much easier.

Installed on our 2023 Entegra Odyssey 30Z with the E450 chassis and had no issues with fitment.Leaps and bounds better than the OEM Ford product on the rig and I expect a great improvementonce we hit the road. This motorhome did not come with the suspension upgrades like some and if anyone has owned a Class C E450, they know you have to do this if you want a better driving experience! We did front and rear sways, shocks, steering stabilizer and Sumo. That and an alignment adding +5 positive castor should be all we need on this big behemoth! Happy trails!

I choose to install the rear bar only at first and test drive it, I might keep it that way for some time because I’m greatly satisfied. More stable ride on initial test, will see after our next trip. Installed myself in 2 hours, carefully read instructions to make it right the first time. Highly recommend

This has to be the second best upgrade, I’ve also done the front sway bar. In addition to the Hellwing sway bar I’ve also installed the SuperSteer rear trac bar. I have a 2020 Ford E450 motorhome. Installation was easy. You do need another pair of hands if your doing the work yourself. I ramp up about 6” using a step up of pressure treated boards. You can also use leveling ramps. Please be safe. Engaged emergency brakes and Chuck the tires. This extra height made it easy for me to work under the vehicle. You also need and impact gun and a torque wrench. Rated for 250 pounds. Check manufacture for proper torque. You can also rent the tools from your local Auto Center. You can save so much by doing it yourself. Excellent customer support. I found the direction easy to follow. There are many YouTube videos regrading installation. I don’t understand why the upgrade sway bars are not included. Just put it in the price during sales. I’ve taken already many over the highway trips. No more White knuckles, no more sway due to other trucks and high winds. Also when making a turn you don’t get that scary sway. Notes this doesn’t mean you can make faster turns you must always be aware of your speed. This upgrade has tamed the beast. It’s not cheap but well worth the expense.

Straight forward bolt on replacement. Took about 2 hours in the driveway with hand tools and a creeper. Challenge stabilizing the new Hellwig easily remedied using stackable leveling pads at three points under mounting locations to align hardware. The other issue that was a little difficult was pressing the sleeve into the hourglass bushings on the end links. Solved this by using a bottle jack placed on the leveling blocks under the hitch, pressed the sleeve into the bushing with ease.Following install, took for a test drive and the difference driving on and off ramps was immediately noticeable. It was very windy and and the RV tracked much straighter with little to no wind sheer noticed. I am very pleased with the quality, and positive effect the sway bar install has made on the way my RV drives and handles.Money and time well spent.

Installed in an E450 motorhome and it's a night and day difference. I'm not really sure why they don't install these when the motorhome is put on the chassis. It does tighten the back end up which equals a harsher ride, but the pros outweigh the cons. I originally questioned whether or not it was worth spending the money on this and it definitely was. Much more comfortable to drive, and a lot less sway.

I purchased both front and rear sway bars for my 27" Class C Ford E-450 and they are far superior to the stock Ford sway bars. I have driven through some very high winds and the vehicle is a lot more solid and does not get "pushed around" near as much.Cornering has improved, there is very little roll.It is a pleasure to drive!

After 1-1/2 years of being blown all over the road from passing 18-wheelers and side winds, I decided to install Hellwig front and rear stabilizer bars, along with Bilstein shocks on our 2013 Ford E-450 based 25 foot Regency GT class C motorhome. WOW!!! No more 'white-knuckle' driving! Passing 18-wheelers and high cross-winds have almost no effect on the handling and tracking of the vehicle. This is the best $ we have invested on improving the handling of our RV. I installed everything myself, but be forewarned, these sway bars are very heavy! Side-by-side with the original factory sway bars, these appear to be at least twice the diameter. They are HUGE! Very, very highly recommended!
