This lock has a chain covered with a thick cloth, and cuffs lined with rubber, so my scooter won’t get scratched up. The chain is short and light, which makes it easy to carry. If you just need a latte lock, this one is convenient to use. I’m satisfied with it. But I’m pretty sure its 8mm chain links wouldn’t hold up against a determined thief with a bolt cutter.

Excellent scooter lock, has some good weight to it and the chain is long enough for 2 scooters and is covered well not to scratch or damage the scooter. comes with 3 lock keys and are easy to open and lock. fits in a scooter handle bar bag with no issues.

Overall these look heavy duty and weigh a ton. However, the thin chain is hidden underneath the chain cloth, so I docked a star as I expected the chain to at least be somewhat matching the hardware.

Good design, but this will add a bit of weight to your backpack. For me, it's nothing super noticeable, but they definitely have some heft to them. The cloth hides the chain in its entirety, but the chain doesn't feel very thick. A quick snip of the cloth with scissors followed by a cutting tool I'd imagine would get this separated in no time. But for an unprepared spontaneous would-be thief, I'd say this would secure your vehicle quite well. The keys are laser cut and extremely lightweight, you pretty much don't even know they're on your keyring, you get 3 keys total. If you suspect where you're parking your scooter/bike has many skilled lock-breakers about or perhaps someone tracking you, they'll get through this one. If it's just a casual non-frequent spot, this should keep it secured just fine without any issue.

This seems to be a good light to medium duty scooter lock. The chain measures 1/4" so it could be cut with bolt cutters. The chain is covered to prevent rust and not expose the size of the chain. Looking at the chain cover it looks like it is heavier duty than it really is. The ends lock and unlock with a smooth action. The metal on the ends are covered in a plastic to keep from scratching your scooter. A lock will only keep an honest person from taking your scooter. This scooter lock would be ideal for a lesser priced scooter but definitely not for a mid to high priced one.

Interesting design, and the handcuff parts seem to be made of a good quality metal. But as they say, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. That is where this fails badly. The chain links on this are just not thick enough. The fabric covering the chain doesn't have any resistance to cutting. After realizing that I would never use it because of how weak it is, I decided to cut it open.I used the tiny pair of regular scissors shown to cut through the fabric in about 3 seconds.See how the ad says 8mm links? Nope. They are 5.5mm.Blatantly false advertising. You could cut through a link in under 30 seconds.Use this overnight, or in a bad neighborhood, and your scooter won't be there when you get back.

This is an impressive and super well made locking device. The device has an intimidating appearance that may help deter theft attempts alone, but it's also very well designed and made. I think it's actually capable of resisting theft as well as its appearance suggest. Everything about it seems to be high quality. Even the packaging it comes in is impressively designed. Versatile enough for a wide range of applications.

This heavy-duty scooter lock is solid and well-made. The chain is thick and durable, providing security for my bike (cheap bike, probably not worth a lock of this quality, but I wanted to test this out). It’s weatherproof and resistant to rust, so it holds up well in all conditions. It has a good bit of weight to it, heavier than most bike locks, so be mindful of when and where you use this as it will add some weight to your ride.
