I bought this for my husband's birthday. He had it up on basement rafters the next day. Works great and the adjustability makes the purchase worth it. He can easily undo it and move it to another spot when he wants a change of scenery. Holds at least 200lbs.

I ordered this clamp to hang a Hammock Chair in our garage. I won't go into the details, but I have serious lower back pain. My OT (occupational therapist) encourages me to take pressure off of my lower spine by sitting on the edge of a bar stool in a semi-standing position (uncomfortable!) ...or lying in a comfortable hammock, and in my case, I use a hammock chair.I had not considered using the chair indoors, but the cold weather became a factor in being outdoors! My husband suggested that the metal beam in our garage would be an excellent place to safely hang the hammock chair. I saw this YZZHAJ Heavy Duty Beam Clamp Hanger that can hold 400-pounds--so knew it could do the job a few times over!My husband said it was easy to install on the beam and came with the extra hardware needed to hang the chair. The hanger is adjustable, so the perfect fit can be accomplished with a little tweaking. These aren't just for heavy bags as we are using it for a saucer swing and it works great! We have four very active kids and during bad weather, they still need an outlet. This has allowed us to hang a couple of swings in our unfinished area without needing to drill into any floor joists or any wood at all. It hooked right onto our exposed metal beam and has worked great for what we needed it to.

This is a fairly simple clamp for iron beams. I am using it on a gantry crane in the garage to hold a 150lb ringside bag. It comes with a swivel and carabiner, but I took these off in order to fit a heavy spring. There is nothing wrong with the stock parts though, they look solid.The construction is basically folded steel that has been powder coated and laser cut. I bolted it to the beam and didn't notice any flexing. To save the finish on the gantry crane I used some thin foam.Haven't seen any flexing or shifting even though this is a heavy bag.
