Keep boxes safely on the benchtop during use or stack boxes for long-term storage. Each box is secured with a rust-resistant nickel-plated clasp and hinge pin. Each slot is numbered to correspond to the slide inventory sheet on the inside cover of the box. Boxes stack securely on top of each other. White cork lined. Measures 8.25" length by 7" width by 1.3" height.

A plastic box with cork that slides rest on. Slide positions are numbered to match the lid description. The latch works well, easy to use and holds well. The slide holder is a bit large for slides listed as ranging 1.0 - 1.2mm. You might want to add a piece of foam on the lid to hold slides firmly. Good slide box.

slides are not sturdily hold inside you can hear them giggling when moving the box. ALSO the spaces are so wide you can fit 2 slides in each making this device a 200 slides holder. Okay for storage but NOT for transport.

Holy, it's beautiful! Not a scratch or anything. I just received it so I'm not sure about overall durability, but it really does seem very sturdy. The hinges are made of the same plastic as the box, but thicker. It's not like you'll be playing catch with your slide box, anyway. Awesome purchase.

We do not need super fancy box to store slides. The size fits, durable, easy to open compare to other products, enough space and clean. It serves perfectly for its purpose.
