If you are utilizing this to replace an existing switch it may work great, but if you want to utilize it for your own lighting set up it will take some time. It comes with no wiring diagram. Time to get out the multi-meter. Would it be that hard to provide a small piece of paper in the bag that shows the wiring diagram?

I didn't get this for the intended application, so can't speak to fit, but it's a very close replacement for a Carling Contura switch that is commonly used in a lot of machinery and off-highway vehicles.The lighting works fine, but one of the contacts regularly doesn't close when actuating the switch on the one I got. In turn, that means that one circuit of lights doesn't work when switched to that mode, and you can either cycle it back and forth until it does, or jiggle it, or push harder, to try and get it to work. None of those are expected or signs of a well made piece, so I'm disappointed in that. It's nice in that it has the lighting emblems, but needs a bit more QC work on the switch itself based on the one I got.As it does not include a wiring diagram or indication of where to connect what to get expected results, I found the lack-of-contact with a multimeter, battery, and a couple lights, to see where I wanted to hook up, and then dug in deeper when I was getting inconsistent results.
