My child loves wrestling with this thing. Instead of buying stuffers, I just stuffed it with old clothes that no longer fit the family. It was perfect.

MY NEPHEW LOVES THIS GRAPPLER. HE IS 8 YEARS AND IT HELPS WITH HIS KARATE. GETTING IT BLOWN UP IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT BUT OVERALL GOOD PRODUCT.

So I have been practicing jiujitsu for a bit. I do pretty well for myself but tend to forget the basics when I’m anxious on the mat. So bought it to drill so these moves become second nature to me.For reference to the dummy, I am 5’3” and female. The dummy is about my height (maybe shorter but can’t tell do to the bending of the legsThis is good for SOME drills but not ALL.Cons: 1) arms are small for the size of the dummy I can see how they can become easy to rip if you’re rough on the dummy. Practicing americanas, and kimuras proved to be a little challenging due to it but it’s not impossible 2) as mentioned, it’s small, even for me but I can imagine it would create an issue for someone who is bigger 3) it does NOT come filled, finding “stuffing” without paying an arm & a leg is a bit difficult (however, I did find some for free) 4) I hate the clown face- I wish there were other options— but that’s the least of my concerns lolAnd 5) it was a little difficult to stuff as the point of entry was at the top half of the body and I stuffed it with teddy bear type stuffing that got very tangled in the Velcro and zipper so maybe a way to cover the Velcro part of you care about that when stuffing the dummy?6) legs are a little flimsy but I’m not worried too much about the legsNow for the Pros: 1) it is good for MY size so I think it would be great for petite females and kids.2) the chest area is wide. 3) the clothe is decent quality. 4) there’s range to practice top & bottom mount, back mount, side control 5) if you stuff the neck part well, it’s decent basic sized neck that you’d do an RNC on or other variable neck chokes (obviously my fave is RNC).Over all I am happy with my purchase and with the price I paid for it and would buy it again if this one became damaged. But you would probably be better off to purchase a prefilled dummy if you have to go out and by the filling bc it CAN be expensive.

My son wanted something to practice his karate and wrestling moves on. Really good quality and it is big! We've had it a year and my son is very rough and it doesn't have any rips or tears. It takes a lot of stuffing at first but I haven't had to add any more over time. Highly recommend!

Serves its purpose. My son uses for wrestling practice. Its good quality. We stuffed it with clothes and stuffed animals. My only complaint is that it's creepy 😅

I used "Hawk" for Halloween. He sat on my porch with a candy bowl in his lap. I used a throw pillow for his head, and sheets for his body. The neighbor likes to throw him around. My nephews have now decided they would like a chance to kill him. He has held up well. I would defiantly buy again. He's 5 feet tall, very sturdy material, good stiches. So far, no tearing at any seams.

The zipper on the dummy broke and I never got the chance to finish filling it up so I can use it . I got the product on April 4th and by April 9th ( without having the chance to use it ) it broke. Waste of money.

I was very pleased when this arrived. The price was pretty low so I was a bit worried the quality would be poor, but I was pleasantly surprised and the fabric quality seems really sturdy. I think it looks really good! Obviously, it is unfilled so you have to do that yourself and I was going to use pool noodles inside for structure, but then I thought it would be funny to put empty 2 litre plastic pop bottles (with lids on) inside the chest area and the limbs/feet as "bones" so they would crunch and crackle when the kids pounce on it. I wrapped all the plastic bottles with old clothes and towels. It takes A LOT of fabric to fill it up tight but I think it worked out really well. Very happy with this! Super fun! Thank you!

The dummy itself is as described and the pricing was very good (less than $30 CDN). The material seems tough and the back has a zipper and velcro to keep your stuffing material in place. The arms could have been longer but it's not a deal breaker. If you are going to use this, I suggest using a combination of PVC pipes for the joints (one forearm, one bicep, and one shin per side) connected with pool noodles in order to simulate bones and moving joints especially if you are going to grapple with this. Make sure you stuff it with material that's not too light as you want some resistance but not too heavy as it will be too hard to pick up if you're going to use it for throws. I suggest using a mix of old clothes and packaging material like foam peanuts. If you want to add weight, some people suggested using rubber mulch (cheap, small and heavy). Sand may be too heavy and messy. I used an old backpack for the torso as well for bulk. Add something firm in the neck and waist area, too in case you want to do chokes or add a belt. I first used an old gi but I ended up wrapping an old belt around its neck and crossed it across its torso and tied it around its back. It would be a pain to put it in the washing machine as I will have to remove all the stuffing but that's not the fault of the product. Probably spot wiping with a damp cloth would be fine if you don't want to do that. It has been very handy during the pandemic especially for ground work.

This is a nice product. Challenging to fill - I would recommend using a pool noodle for the arms and I used pvc pipe to create shins and femurs. I filled the rest of him with linen to give him some weight. The dummy is high quality and serves his purpose well. I didn't realize when I bought him that he had this creepy clown face!
