Yep 2 1/2 holes is how far this 17/32 annular cutter made it before it broke into several pieces. The job was to cut holes in the center of the 3" side of 1/2" X 3" hot rolled bars using a vertical mill. I had about 100 holes to do and while this cutter was not up to the task the one that I replaced it with from Hougen finished the job and is ready to cut some more next time.
