On opening the package, I noticed the layers weren’t fused together all around the edges. I contacted seller and got a response explaining that previous feedback from buyers said the pad was too hard so the company cut back on how much they machine felt the layers. The rep said the layers will fuse as I use it. Makes sense, so I’m fine with that. I’ve been using it a week now and the only thing I don’t like so far is that there are long white fibers on the pad that stick to my work. I have to keep picking them off. Hopefully these fibers will stop shedding the more I use my felting needles on it. If half stars were possible, I’d give it a 3.5.
