This is a thin plastic tray and the top latches don't close that well.

They do not stack together as picture shows. You can set each one on top of each other but have to transport separate or they slide apart and fall.

Not something I use all the time, however, when you want to take eggs to a party or picnic it is exactly what you need. The egg dish allows an attractive display for any holiday. Mine is used more often during the holidays.

The picture makes you think these trays connect to one another, they do not. In fact, the lids don't even connect to the trays. I bought three. There are four latches on the lids. In each tray, only 1 latch would snap closed. The other three did not. Meaning the lids do not secure to the tray. The idea behind the tray is good, the design is poor. The trays worked fine for serving, did not work at all for storage.

Do not run them thru the dishwasher. I did by mistake. It makes the lock down tabs very brittle. They break when you try to lock them back down at the next run. Great product but hand wash only.

Although this product is light weight and a little flimsy, overall, I am satisfied, it serves my purpose. Exactly what I expected. Makes filling and garnishing eggs much easier. Less mess too. No more having to keep repositioning and propping up the eggs by clustering them together, which saves time. (Place, fill, garnish, and cover). Voila!Loving the 22 slots, perfect for entertaining. Did I mention, great price? Definitely purchasing another.

The snaps on the side to secure are cheap. I bought two packs and 2 snaps broke. I also thought from the picture they stacked in each other. They do not stack.

I was assigned the deviled eggs for the family Christmas gathering, and imagine my disappointment when after slaving away for hours, two out of three of the lids for the brand new trays broke upon first usage. Each tray has a lid with 4 snap around latches. They were tricky to close because the lids didn't seem to fit the trays properly. They felt off by only a couple of millimetres, but that was enough. Even the one tray that closed fully was not airtight at all. The other two each had one latch snap off, first time I tried to close them. The material was flimsy and thin for the whole item and I had to use sticky tape to transport the eggs in the car!Avoid this product.
