Used to install center console leather on a 2013 F150, purchased leather from the Seat Shop. Staples used were Spot Nails 87002.5 3/8-Inch Crown Staples, 5/32-Inch. The 5/32" should prevent this from going all the way through the plastic. Test once getting the PSI settings set before attempting it on the new leather.

I received this item broken. It would not staple anything. When I returned it I had to pay around $25 to return it. I bought one then from a local store. I didn’t want to take a chance on ordering another that may be faulty.

Uphlolsterer for almost 40 years. Have used up several pro guns over that time. This gun is 1/6 th the cost, and figured it might last a few months. It's been 5 years, and I still use it every day. Bought a second just in case.Plus it takes series 7 staples which are pretty inexpensive. I buy them in bulk for a few dollars a box. Can't go wrong.

Overall I am happy with this stapler and it is certainly doing everything I expected it to do. The weight and build quality seems to be solid enough and after reupholstering twenty chairs it is still working strong. I run this at about 60 psi and it drives 3/8 crowned staples through a thick fabric with no issue. For the price this is a great tool for the DIYer who needs a good pneumatic stapler. The only thing that is a little unusual to me is there is no safety. All my other nail guns, pin nailers, etc, you have firmly press the nail gun tip onto the surface and activate a safety before you can shoot the fastener. This gun does not have that so you have to be careful and keep your finger off the trigger. It does have a safety you can flip at the trigger itself but nothing like most other nailers. I do not think this is a negative, just something to be aware of.Overall I recommend this stapler for the DIYer and hobbyist .

I'm a professional upholsterer and know how much staple guns cost so I was really skeptical - but I was also broke and needed an extra gun. This is a fantastic light duty stapler! It's perfect for lightweight fabrics and vinyl - you know those projects where your regular gun blasts the staples right on through the fabric and sinks them into the wood? This is gun you want for those projects. If you're a hobbyist or new to upholstery, this is a good starter gun - it's just what you need for dining seats or almost any small project. It's also good if you're feeling tentative - sometimes you have to set staples temporarily and pull them out again, and this is the right gun for that. I'm thrilled. I have had times when I've had to go back and bang staples the rest of the way down with a hammer - in my case, I switch back to my heavy duty gun when that happens. It takes standard 3/8" crown staples, same as my other gun.The only complaint I have is the "safety" is a silly little thing that swivels around behind the trigger and sometimes I hit it by accident and it's in the way. Eventually I'll take it off completely. That's it. This is an Awesome Light Duty stapler.

This is my first pneumatic stapler and I couldn't be more pleased. I upholstered 6 hard wood dining chairs and 1 office chair (about 2500 staples) and not a single jam or misfire. Not a single wasted staple. I normally expect to have to tap a few in with a hammer, but my hammer was a lonely onlooker for these projects. Not a single staple needed to be coaxed in. I have been using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GM97GM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they go in super clean and tight but are a little tough coming out, mostly they just break. But I think with 22 gauge wire it's to be expected, esp with hard wood. The nose is nice and long, slim, precise. The loading is single handed even with my arthritis. Highly recommend.
