Did not fit mower. It might have worked had the plastic not been deformed during shipment.

Product made out of harder less forgiving material than the John Deere original. Fit was awful on D140 mower. Had to use heat gun to get part to fitbecause it was mis-shapened along the top edge. Upon first use a small piece of wood hit the produ t and put a baseball sized hole in it rendering this purchase a total waste. Spend a few do.lars more and buy the real John Deere part. I've had a John Deere mulching plate on another mower since 1996 and it is still functioning as it should.

It did what is suppose to do . One problem is that it was very hard to install it right .

Bought this to attach to my John Deere D140 Lawn Tractor deck to mulch leaves this Fall.Mulch cover fits perfectly, is heavier in weight, which is good. The mounting clips are a little confusing but it is attached.Did a fantastic job mulching the leaves.This is a great value for the price!

This is a great way to stay clean while cutting grass lol, this was a game changer for me. The mulching cover makes the grass cut up more leaving less debris.
