Had my JD Mower for years and run over leaves to grind into the grass for free mulch/fertilizer. Never new this Mulching Chute Cover existed until saw on Amazon. Keeps the leaves under the deck instead of blowing out the chute. This combined with using the Winged Mulching Blades makes shredding and depositing the leaves straight down a snap. Works better than expected. Wish I knew about this item sooner.

I’m only giving this 4 stars because it doesn’t come with a box (expect a thin, flimsy USPS mailing envelope in your mailbox) or with any instructions on how to install it. I looked it up on YouTube. Very easy to install…took about 5 minutes after watching YouTube.

This does not fit as well as the John Deere mulch cover that I had before. I would pay the extra and stick with the John Deere part in the future.
