I bought 3 of these so far 1 for my hunting rifle 1 for my fathers hunting rifle and 1 for my muzzleloader. My biggest care was my muzzleloader as i wanted to keep snow and rain out of that barrel and this does the job. I have had it in snowstorms and rain storms and keeps the top part of my guns dry. The bottom portion is open but when slung you can turn it in to protect that area as well. Highly recommend.

This is an easy to put on and easy to remove waterproof case for my rifle while transporting in my gun rack on my ATV.My rifle is dry and protected from trail dirt , all good. And a good price to boot!

This is one of those items that every hunter should have. I originally purchased this simply to have my rifle camoflaged as I hiked. Now I use it as a rain and snow cover and even good for blowing dust. Of course the dust can get everywhere anyway since the bottom is open for quicker removal, but it really does limit it in the dry desert where I am. It looks durable and well made and I have used it 3-4 times already and it still looks like new. I'm impressed, and I like it. It has a mild drawback for very quick removal, and that is that it fits like a sock over the barrel, but, oh wait, it is a gun sock, so there really isn't a better way that I can see and still get the functionality. This may just be a "must have" item for inclement weather hunting and shooting. I do like that it folds up nicely into it's case. I just clip this to my backpack, or throw it in a pocket. It has waterproof lining, but it is not the same as most, and it appears to be much more durable than say the lining you see on a backpack or other nylon. It is a very soft fabric also and not like nylon. This makes it very flexible without feeling like it will tear apart easily.

Best I've seen for this sort of thing. I like the fact that it folds into the self-attached bag and doesn't take up much room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the "one size fits all" design is a little sloppy and access takes a pretty big motion. I'm not sure exactly what I'd do differently but I'd say there is room for improvement. As I said though, "Best in a weak field."
