As others said these did not fit. I should have listened but I ended up returning.

I bought these to put on a set of Gotoh tuning machines. Specifically SG301’s. The new buttons are of very nice quality, a nice white cream colour, clean finish, and a little smaller, in a tasteful way, than typical Gibson style tulip buttons. They come with the appropriate sized screw that matches the threading of the Gotoh and the shaft size fits just perfectly. I will buy more and use them. Thanks.

These aren’t made for any serious guitar replacement option. They’re very lightweight and smaller than standard sizes.

As other handy guys mentioned, it won't work as a drop in replacement for Grover tuners, but it fill fit after some intervention with a square profile needle file, which I happened to have on hand. It took me 15-20 min per set to fix them. Also, you need to readjust tension on the knobs, by fine tuning the screws which you use to attach them to the tuner posts, otherwise they will be too difficult to turn. Make sure you don't loose the original washers that are on the tuners (2 washers: 1 plastic, 1 metal spring washer). You might also need to use the original tuner screws on some Grovers, as some of them have slightly longer screws. It was a fun challenge and the results are worth the price.

Only sent 2 buttons, not 6. Very small. Sent the 2 back. Not impressed.

The original metal pegs were just too crowded for my fingers. These pegs skide right on and operate comfortably. They use a tiny lock washer to maintain the steing tension and tune like butter

product did not fit the tuners I bought them for, total waste of money.there are apparently 5 mm and 6 mm posts, wish there were any kind of indication in the ad.

The product was to replace some chrome tuner knobs with old style knobs. They took awhile (2 weeks), and when delivered, the tuner shaft holes were tight, but after a little material was removed by filing, fit snug and gave me the look I was wanting. All in all, a nice product.

Like others have pointed out these will fit on Grover posts with some effort; the file I used was the small fret-dressing file with the red handle that I got from StewMac...it fit perfectly into the slot on the new buttons and did the trick.

As many reviewers mentioned these will NOT fit Grover tuners, at least not without modification. They will however fit Gotoh tuners just fine (Mine are Magnum-Lock 510's) Great value considering the plastic "keystone" or "tulip" shaped buttons sold by themselves for gotoh are not easy or cheap to get without knowing for certain whether they will work and there are plenty of buttons out there but almost none of them mention what kind of tuners will work with them. Hopefully this review can help, either way for the price theyre worth a try

These are the right color if you want to match some other cream accents but you will have to modify to fit on a kluson tuning machine.

These tuners will work on Grover tuners, but will require some work with a small flat or square file to open the channel just a bit. This took me about half an hour to do all six, but they then fit on tightly to my Grover tuners and look nice. If you're not handy with a file, however, don't buy these as they will not slip right on the tuner shaft.
