Great item, well worth the money. Many of the gun socks available at Cabelas etc. are fine for a shotgun but much too narrow for use with a scoped rifle. These are very well made, provide good protection, and are wide enough to fit easily over a scoped rifle, highly recommended, would buy them again.

These work as advertised. Slips over a .308 bolt gun with scope without any issues. Gives it a little protection while in the vault from bumps, scratches.

I needed a few larger rifle socks that would stretch enough to fit over an AR 15 with a scope. These definitely fit the bill perfectly! Sock is definitely long enough for a regular bolt action rifle with a scope but yhey also have plenty of stretch to accommodate odd shapes like scoped AKs and AR 15 as well. Sock is reasonably thick to prevent damage in close spaces with others guns and has a draw string on the opening to close it up. They seemed a bit expensive at first, but after handling them and using one that opinion changed. They are a fair price for the protection provided and the silicone in the material should definitely help with corrosion too! Definitely no complaints and i will be ordering more to sock all the long guns in my safe. Should help on waiting to buy that bigger safe for a bit longer! Ha! Ha!

Material is thick. What is important also is the width. They work for getting around the pistol grip and the optics at the same time.

heavy duty, guns are expensive, and condition is everything. Don't let them bang into each other and keep the handling marks off them with these.

These firearm socksare well made and thick. I often use the sock as a scarf when I am sitting in the woods so I like the thickness. My rifle and scope slide in well.The only thing that I have changed is the tie cord. I find that like most socks it is too short. I just exchanged the one that came with it for a four foot piece of parachute cord.

Extra roomie for magazine , scope and sling . I use these on all my rifles haven't had any problems with rust sense.

I like these mostly because they are big enough for a scoped rifle but also they are also thicker than most.

The sock is long enough and seems thick. It stretched over a tactical rifle-small scope with some difficulty getting on and off. Another two inches added to the width would be ideal especially if a larger scope is purchased. Other than that it is a nice and I am glad I purchased them. The green is a nice color. The pistol socks are nice also.
