For my purposes, the ability to fold is a huge plus. Allows the spork to be easily put in any container. Now, if it came in a tiny box that fit it exactly, that would be even better for storing it when not properly washed.

Needed a companion spoon/foon for our kit. Folding lockable design allows in to pack small in our cook kit. GSI is always good quality

These sporks are exactly what I was looking for. I ended up ordering 3. One for hiking, car and my bag. I highly recommend it.

It's tiny, it's inexpensive, it's lightweight, it's functional. The tines are enough to stab into meat and the bowl is deep enough for a good scoop of granola. It folds up exactly the right size to fit in the Stanley camp pot my mess kit is built into. It's nearly perfect. I only have two complaints. First, it's a bit short for some of the deeper MRE packs, you end up with food on your knuckles, but I recognize that's the price you pay for it to fold up as small as it does. The second one is the real stinker: the back has these two little pockets that a bit of food always gets trapped in, and it's a pain to clean it out again in the wilderness where water rationing is a concern. It's tough to get those crevices totally clean, and nothing ruins a good bowl of granola like a dash of sauce from last night's mac and cheese.

These are metal versions of the plastic sporks that come in GSI cooking kits. They are much easier to clean and a lot stronger. Definitely worth the upgrade. If you're in the market for a compact folding spork, these are hard to beat.

Fits perfectly in my Stanley adventure cook set. Haven't done any serious testing yet but super compact and lightweight.
