Germination Stage
Plants mainly need blue light at the germination stage, and blue light helps the germination of seeds and the initial growth of seedlings.
Growth Stage
During the growth period of plants, both blue and red light are important to support rapid plant growth and enhance photosynthesis.
Flowering Stage
The flowering stage has a greater demand for red light, which affects the flowering time of plants and the number of flowers.
Result Stage
Moderate light intensity can promote the uniform growth of the fruit and the accumulation of sugar, thereby improving the quality of the fruit.

I have only been using this light for a week now, but I will provide updates if anything changes. It's my first attempt to grow anything indoors, so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. As far as I can tell this light is great. I wasn't sure how far above the plants it should be suspended, but found it sort of buried in the descriptive images in the posting. It would be good to have that information more prominently displayed in the description perhaps.The only real criticism I have of it is that the light has a tendency to spin a little if it gets rocked because it has one point of attachment. It might be good to have a stabilizer chain that attaches to the locking pulley. It would double as a way to tilt the light if one saw fit to need it at an angle rather than straight down.This light stays relatively cool, so this is a good thing. My tent stays in the mid 70's for the most part with decent ventilation via inline fan and 2 clip on fans. If you need the heat for seed germination, you may want to move the light very close until the seeds sprout, otherwise I would consider another source of heat based on what I've seen in my attempts to learn about growing plants indoors. To that point, also make sure you water your plants appropriately. The lower heat doesn't dry out the plants as quickly and you may over-water them potentially.

This is the right LED to get for any application. At the very least, KING LED is the brand to go with. The price is right where the average person needs it to be. The quality of the light is AMAZING!!!!!! Granted i am new to Hydro, but i did my homework. I learned. I have a medical condition that makes it difficult for me to stand or walk for long periods, so when i want to learn something, i can sit and learn for hours. I found this light, and i am thankful i did. I showed a couple pics, i wish i could show more, but .... Anyway, it is CRAZY bright. Plants grow like weeds...... in there. Its AMAZING. With Co2 from a Mycelium bag, and O2 injection through the nutrients, with this light, i sometimes see 3-4 plus inches a day of veg growth. No Joke!. I was shocked. The packaging for the light is top of the line. There was no way it was going to arrive broken unless UPS kicked it from ohio to NY. Thanks for that!!. The construction is Brick ShatHouse level. Its made to last. The function is easy and quick, Plug in and go. Select your light level with the two switches for veg and bloom. ( i just have both on full time) and its off and running. I used wifi plugs to set the timing, and that is the best way to do it. Big power strip, wifi plugs. Ron Popeil action- Set it and forget it. Check your nutes, and in a few months, beautiful, albeit a bit smelly, tomatoes! GET ONE!!

Being quite skeptical about cheap, LED lighting I bought 2 of these for supplemental lighting for my medical plants. I already have HID, UV and UVB lighting so I wanted the LEDs for many reasons. I wanted to get a more full spectrum in my room, thus reaping many benefits, also wanted an increase in yield and or resin production as well as aroma, and I wanted to see how effective the LED was compared to say HID. I was pleasantly surprised to notice a slight increase in all of these things. As others have mentioned, when they say 1200 watts, this is definitely not going to perform like even a 1000 watt HID. That being said, they cover about a solid 3x3 area (diffuse maximum efficiency for Sq. footage at 4x4 or more) and are more like a 600 watt HID equivalent in applicable use. I plugged both in on an 18hr timer and barely noticed an increase in electric.They're very quiet, durable (took a couple drops with no issues) and didn't seem to dull out. Bright enough to overpower my grow rooms red/orange glow, to a very bright blue-ish, orangish, purple. Very bright when you walk in. They don't throw much heat at all and even with the LED 4-5 inches from my plant (single plant abuse test) there were no ill effects, much like flourescent or CFL, it has to be almost touching to burn. Even in flower, I found 6" from the plant for a week, let rest and repeat gave a noticeable increase in trichome production. At this range it is reall only a single plant light but is quite powerful and penetrating.RECOMMENDATIONS:-Small indoor plants-Small Closet grow-Supplemental lighting (3x3 maximum efficiency)-Full spectrum application (4x4 or 5x5...cost effective)DO NOT buy this expecting 1 of these lights to bring 2,3 or 4 full sized plants to harvest and be happy. You will be disappointed. This is a great SUPPLEMENTAL light! Or small plants. It's maximum grow efficiency is only 3x3 or 4x4 max so if you want to cram 3-4 small SMALL plants in a tent and run it, you may be okay with a shorter veg.A slay of a deal for 100 bucks honestly! 👍
