The bulb was good…for almost 2 months. It has already stopped working.

Amazing grow light, puts out a lot of light and seems exceptionally well made. It’s very similar to another name brand grow light that’s much more expensive. I can’t speak to the longevity of it since I just got it yesterday. I have over 100 house plants so I will be ordering more for sure!

Nice full spectrum grow light that can be positioned at different distances from your plants to provide exactly the amount of light your species of plant needs. Comes with a small pamphlet listing common plants and their lighting needs. If you only have space to put your plants in gloomy corners or shady windows, here’s your answer!

This 18W COB grow light will deliver an intense beam of full-spectrum light with a peak PPFD value of 1300 umol/m2/s at a distance of 16-inches (according to readings from a quantum PAR meter).Although I was impressed by this amount of peak PAR energy, I was surprised how quickly the PPFD values fall off from the centerline. As a result, the core PAR coverage, or the total area that this bulb can cover, is only about 16” x 16”. At least according to rules that I follow; where I keep PPFD values within the core PAR coverage zone at or above 50 umol/m2/s. In fact, I usually set it at 100 umol/m2/s. But for this bulb, I reduced it to 50 umm, because of the precipitous fall off.Of course, there are no hard fast rules when it comes to the parameters of core PAR coverage. Evidence by my reducing the PPFD limit from 100 umol/m2/s to 50 umol/m2/s. But in doing so, I’ll just have to make sure that the plants or foliage along the perimeter can handle the reduced PAR. So while I set my PPFD limit at 50, it might be completely reasonable to extend the core PAR coverage out to 2 square feet. The PPFD levels will certainly fall below 50 umol/m2/s along the perimeter, but the plants involved might be OK with that. As long as they are, no harm.In the end, this is a very nice grow light bulb, with lots of concentrated PAR energy in the middle of the beam. But far less along the perimeter. Because of the beam characteristics of this bulb, it might actually be optimal to have two (2) bulbs working together. Spaced about 12 to 16-inches apart. Especially if the core PAR coverage needs to be greater than 16” x 16”. I’m happy to recommend.

This bulb is amazing. I have several other bulbs and when I added this to the multi head lamp, it clearly outperforms the other brands of light bulbs. There is no noise, it does generate some heat which I’m sure my tropical plants don’t mind and it feels and looks durable. It functions amazingly as a plant light. I plant on replacing my other bulbs as this one is a great value for the money.

I just got this and was able to screw it into a regular light bulb base. I use a shop light surround on it to help reflect the light towards my plants. You can't adjust the intensity of the light so you just need to have a hanging fixture so you can adjust the distance. I'll set it up on my balcony to provide light to the plants that don't get enough sunlight. The bulb is a good size so it provides a decent amount of light.

This grow light bulb is amazing! It fits any standard lamp or pendant, so I didn’t need to buy a special fixture. My pothos and monstera are thriving even in darker corners, with noticeable new growth .The light is energy-efficient, and is bright without being harsh on the eyes—perfect for everyday use. Overall, it’s a must-have for any plant lover looking to give their greenery a boost in low-light spaces. Highly recommend!
