I wanted inverted kingpins for some Ace AF1 trucks. Knocked out the old ones and put these in using JB weld to hold the nut in the base plate (lots of videos on youtube on how to do this).They are on the heavier side compared to other kingpins but that wasn't a concern for me.

Low inverted pins for smith grinds! I always get hung up on my king pins and wanted to try these. I initially tried to set and forget but one of the bolts backed out of the baseplate nut since these aren’t designed to work with independent trucks. I drilled a couple of 1/8” holes through the baseplate and but to stake in the nut and all seems well. Next thing better would be to get another pair of grindkings but I don’t think they skate as good as a pair of indies.
