I have a shihtzu that is terrified of loud noises. When Iknow a storm is coming or fireworks will boom, I give 1/2-1 of these to her and it relaxes her in 20-30 minutes. She's 10 lbs.

Dogs like the flavor so it’s easy to administer. Takes a little time (week or so), given daily it builds in their system and then you notice how it calms. Both dogs are Chihuahua breeds; Min Pin and don’t know the breed mix of the other but she’s very hyper! Brown and white color with long body, big ears, curly tail and hound bark. Full of energy/emotions (whines) but this works for her!

My dog loves the taste, considers it a wonderful treat, and it helps take the edge off when I need him to remain calmer for a prolonged period of time. He’s in service dog training and it allows me to attend church with a chill dog. I don’t need to use it as often since he’s progressing in his training.

These seem to put my dog on edge more than calm her. It’s like she’s hyper focused on every sound after she takes these and she can’t settle down. They do the opposite of what they’re supposed to do for her. She also hates the taste and I had to mix them with wet food to get her to eat them. Overall a waste of money for us.

Took awhile for my little elderly dog to eat these, but now she likes them, she's very picky. I bought them to help calm her during fireworks, she gets frantic from the noise, shakes her whole body, but these work for her and can sleep more at ease. I've tried other brands and these are the only ones she'll it,I will continue to get them, they are kind of expensive but they work for her.

My dog is afraid of cars and other dogs. Besides improving engagement and learning to work through fear issues, I took him to see a behavioralist/veterinarian who recommended various types of supplements to try. The L-theanine supplement from the veterinarian's office worked great but was very expensive. It was hard finding a substitute because many other supplements add popular human anxiety ingredients and do not list how many mg of active ingredients are in each piece. Greenies Calming supplements limit the ingredients, tell you how many mg of each active ingredient is in each piece, work great, and have a quality seal from the National Animal Supplement Council, meaning they have a third-party test the product. Bonus, my dog thinks he is getting a treat.

This absolutely works for our 5 month old hyper puppy. Doesn’t make him drugged, just calm enough to enjoy our time together. However, after 2-2 times he figured it out -smart boy- and now he won’t touch it no matter how we try to disguise it. One thing that worked was the peanut butter pill covers.
