This hook has already paid for itself several times over. I am using it while clearing trees on my property. I am working alone, and use the hook to help guide the limbs in the direction I need them to fall. I am also using it to help drag the cut limbs to the burn pile. A very well-made hook, and heavier than I was expecting. I would highly recommend.

I'm not sure why, but folks seem unable to resist throwing unwanted items off our local footbridge into the creek underneath. With this hook and a 40 foot rope I have made significant progress on restoring the natural creek environment without actually fighting my way down through the brush and wading in. I can throw this hook farther than folks can throw their unwanted scooters and such. This hook grabs anything you pull it over. It is really strong steel and can lift as much as I can.

This is a nice heavy duty grapple hook. We have not had a chance to use it - but have no reservations that it will perform nicely.
