Very pleased with this purchase. I bought this for use in magnet fishing. I used it when I threw my magnet into the river and found that it was attached to something heavy, so decided to try lifting the object with my grappling hook and magnet together gradually lifting hook then magnet standing on rope so that I could lift each a bit at a time. The object was a heavy bottom piece of an old trolley which would have been in the river for many years. On the same day I found a bike with my magnet and decided it was best to lift it out using this grappling hook - see photo of these items along with all scrap now collected by the scrap lady. In addition to this I used it to remove a number of plastic bags and some clothing from my local river. Highly recommend this grappling hook which is stronger than my previous one and also folds for storage. This will be very helpful in my magnet fishing and keeping to help my river clean from plastic, old clothing, shopping trolleys, bikes etc.

This thing has come in handy. It’s well made for sure! Used it to hang a rope swing for children have used as a temp anchor while paddle boarding etc….has many great uses and again its heavy duty…great quality and makes you feel like Batman!

product is smaller than the ad leads you to think it is much larger than it actually is.. and I don't like to drive 22 miles to post office to pick up package.. so much for free shipping
