These hip and joint chews for dogs are precisely what I have been searching for my 3-year-old female German Shepherd. You receive 150 soft chews. While they are called soft chews, they are not actually soft and chewy; they are soft but can crumble easily. This is beneficial for me because I can take one chew and break it in half, creating two pieces. For my dog's weight, I need to give three chews, so by breaking them in half, I end up with six, allowing me to incorporate a little training session since my dog really enjoys these. While we reinforce commands with her, I can reward her with these supplement chews to support her hips and joints in the long run.The active ingredients for two soft chews are listed on the back, showing that everything is aimed at hip and joint health. Even the inactive ingredients are easy to understand and not primarily synthetic.Overall, I feel confident giving my dog these hip and joint supplements. With 150 chews included, I give her three a day based on her weight, which means I should have enough for about 50 days. Given the current price, these are extremely reasonable. I would recommend these to anyone seeking hip and joint supplements for their dogs.

Well as my dog gets older I have been giving her joint supplements due to hip issues with shepherds. I decided to try this "duck" flavor for the first time seeing if she would like it. She loves them! I was worried with a new flavor she would spit it out, but no, just like a treat she gobbled it right up. So far her joints seem to be ok, just slowing down with age and using these should help keep joint issues in check. great stuff and she loved it!

Love these! This is the first Amazon purchase I have made for hip and joint treats like these that are tailored for Larger dogs. I have tried other brands that have 120 treats in the jar but my large 80lbs dogs need 5 treats for their size. In this brand my dogs need 2-3 treats a day each so the jar will last longer. My dogs love them which is the ultimate test. They are easy to chew, made of high quality ingredients, and are a great value for the number of treats you get in each job. I will definitely be buying more of this brand!

I've been fighting with mobility issues with an elderly cat for a while now, and from this I've learnt two things.1) What ingredients tend to be included in these products2) Not to expect miracles from themSo to the first point, the ingredients list, seems to hit all the check boxes I would expect a product like this to hit, for example to pick just a couple of the active ingredients turmeric (specifically the curcumin it contains) is increasingly being linked with helping with arthritis, whilst black pepper helps with the bodies absorption of that. I'm in no way enough of a nutritionist to be able to tell you if the quantities of active ingredients in these treats are sufficient, but the ones you'd hope to find are at least present. As for the second point, no after giving my cat supplements with a similar set of active ingredients, she has not started being able to turn somersaults, or regain the flexibility of her kittenhood. But, she was going downhill pretty fast, and giving her supplements like these, has certainly arrested her decline, and hopefully given me a bit more time with her before the inevitable.Right so why am I talking about a cat? Because we've got dogs too, and one of them is starting to get on a bit, and that's now prompted me to start thinking more about her joint and muscle health too in the hope we can prevent or reduce any development of arthritis for her as she gets older. Hence why I picked up some of these treats, because what better way, to get something beneficial into your dog, than something she 100% enjoys eating. And she does 100% enjoy eating these, and at 10p a treat, even if they don't end up helping reducing the inevitable effects of age, at least she's getting a treat she enjoys, that aren't breaking the bank.

My dogs seem to love the taste of these, they scoop them up so fast. The smell is strong so be warned! They seem soft enough as my 17 year old dog has no problems chewing them. It's a bit too soon to tell if they are really making any improvements in her health, but I can say for now she seems to enjoy them quite a lot!

I have many dogs and am getting various supplements for them all. The Glucosamine HCL & Hip and Joint Supplement for Dogs (150 pcs) seems to be a hit with my dogs—they absolutely love them! They never leave these chews in their bowls, unlike their regular food, which sometimes gets ignored. This shows that the taste and appeal of the chews are excellent.I've noticed that these supplements are easy to give, and they seem to enjoy them as a treat. While I can't speak to the long-term effectiveness yet, the fact that my dogs are consistently eager to consume them gives me confidence that they may be benefiting from the joint support. The chews have a pleasant beef flavor, and the format makes it convenient for dosing.Overall, I'm pleased with this product, and my dogs are too!

The okköbi Glucosamine HCL Hip and Joint Chews for Dogs is a jar of 150 Chews. The chews are shaped like bones and are fairly small, making it easy for a dog to chew. I opted for the chicken flavor, and my dog loves them! This is a brand I recently discovered, and I must admit I have become a fan of their products. My dog will take these as if they are a treat, so they must taste pretty good to her! She is a senior dog with hip issues, so I'm hoping this will offer her some additional relief. This is the USA formula, and it has no sugar, no corn, no soy, no wheat, no dairy or no GMO. My dog is a Black Lab/Border Collie mix that weighs approximately 85 pounds, so her recommended dose is 3 chews per day. With that amount, one jar of these will be a 50 day supply for my dog...definitely a deal at $6.99 per jar. Overall, I can't say if they are helping her yet because she hasn't been taking them long. However, I do know I've had great success with products from okköbi, and I'm hoping that will be true with these as well. I will update my review in a few weeks if I feel these chews aren't helping my dog.

I got this for our senior chihuahua of whom at 13 years old we have noticed that he was beginning to seem stiff when he walked or jumped into his bed.Having had a 17 year old dog that we had to put down last year, he started showing the same joint stiffness a couple years before he passed. Our vet at that time told us that glucosamine and chondroitin were what we needed…..then she told us about how much any supplement with green lipped mussels was like a cherry on top if we could find a supplement with all three ingredients. We were paying close to $40.00 a month for the one we used from a big box chain. When I compared these with all their ingredients to the ones we were buying…well it was a no brainer! These definitely are a better product and with these chews you get 150 which for our chihuahua means we get 5 months worth at 1 chew a day for a grand total of $19.97! We ordered the duck flavor and he absolutely loves them! Wolfs them down right away and no more rolling them around and finally eating them. Also just for comparison we were paying $35.00 plus shipping for 30 chews of the ones from the big box chain.100% think these are well worth the price, probably worth more if you really want to know the truth! But I hope they don’t raise the prices. lolThank you for taking your time to read this review. I hope it was helpful.Thank you….

We’ve always used a top-tier brand for our dog, especially now that she’s getting on a bit. She’s a senior now, and we want to make sure she’s getting everything she needs to stay comfortable and happy. After getting the vet’s approval, we decided to give these supplements a try, adding them alongside her usual routine. Now, I’ll be honest – it’s a bit too early to tell if they’re working wonders, as it typically takes about 4-5 weeks to start seeing any noticeable improvement. But, as any pet owner knows, you live in hope, right? You just want to do everything you can to make sure your dog has the best quality of life possible in their later years. What’s promising so far is that these supplements tick most of the boxes for the recommended ingredients that can support her health. When it comes to taste, they’ve got a pretty strong beefy smell, which I’d imagine is a treat for most dogs (and let’s face it, if your dog is anything like mine, they can be a bit picky). She’s been happily munching them down, which is a good sign since she’s not always the most enthusiastic about new treats. It’s still early days, so I can’t say for sure if they’re having a major effect just yet, but I’m cautiously optimistic. There’s been no signs of upset stomachs, vomiting, or any of the usual digestive issues that can sometimes happen with new products. She seems to be doing fine so far, which I’m relieved about.Fingers crossed, as time goes on, I’ll start to notice some positive changes. In the meantime, I’m just glad to know I’m doing everything I can to help her stay as healthy and happy as possible. So, for now, it’s a thumbs up, but we’ll have to wait and see what the coming weeks bring!

These chews contain all the great ingredients for dogs with joint stiffness, such as glucosamine, turmeric, collagen, lipid mussels, so they make a great base for giving your dog as a preventative measure. Especially if you have a bigger dog.At £10 for 150 chews these are great value. For a large dog, on 4 chews a day, this equates to about 5 weeks worth, which is really good.My only hesitation is that for a dog already suffering with joint stiffness, the amount of glucosamine isn't actually that high. It contains 80mg per two chews. So 160mg per dose for a large dog. Which is much lower than they need.So I'd say good as a preventative measure, but for older dogs or dogs with joint problems these aren't the best choice.

I'm not going to taste them myself, but if my dog's reaction to these is anything to go by they must be delicious! He comes over and noses the jar if he thinks I've forgotten them in the evening, and seeing as he's a bit picky I think it's fair to say that any dog is going to enjoy them. They're moist and chewy and I'm sure he thinks they're a treat. At about £12 for a big 150 piece jar the value is very good, even if you have a larger dog that needs two or three tablets. As to the medical claims, it's hard to judge, my dog is older but in good shape, he gets a small amount of fish oil every day anyway and I'm adding joint supplements as a preventative rather than curative practice, but at this price I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt and trust they're doing him good.
