The entire construction of this pendant is relatively solid, with the stem of the pendant designed in a segmented fashion so as to allow for adjustment for different ceiling heights. You will likely need to remove one or two of the shorter segments to make for a typical fit above most tabletops or kitchen islands. When assembled, the segments blend together seamlessly to appear as if they are made of one piece of brass.Not bad.

We have a patio that we use daily. We like to play ping pong even after dark. The patio was too dark so we bought this hanging light which allows us to play any time! This pendant light is attractive, and functional and puts off a good amount of light.We love it and the fact that it is outdoor makes it even better.

The product photos are misleading and make this light look a lot nicer than it actually is. The frosted diffuser is plastic and looks really cheap, for $100 I really wish Globe had used glass instead.

Purchase, delivery, and installation of this light assembly was superb.I had to cut the wires to the length of what I wanted. That wasn't too difficult but had to be mindful not to nick the copper wires. With adjusting the power wires, the chain required delinking to fit length.If I had to rate the a scale of level of D.I.Y.er skill set needed, I would give it a 4 meaning not difficult but requires some mechanical abilities. This based on adjusting length of chain and the and wires, wiring to the house, installing the mounting hardware.
