The red colored frame does not match 100%. I would still buy, but not a 100% match. The glass does feel a lot better than a plastic cover.

Now I generally don't have a hard time replacing lenses in electronic devices (I have done multiple DS lites) but this lens kit was a little bit tricky. I bought this for a 2DS system as I had received one that had a few nasty scratches. This kit assumes you are going to place it on the system when it is taken apart. If you're looking to take off the old lens with heat and a suction cup and simply plop this new one on you will be a little taken off guard. The lens comes with a but of wax paper over the adhesive (obviously) but it also has an extra cover over the window of the lens along with the adhesive on the boarder. Assuming you have taken the device apart it should be a matter of peeling the wax paper off, placing it in the device housing and then peeling the additional cover from the window of the lens. Trying to remove the cover without placing it into the housing has to be done carefully. If you do it wrong the adhesive around the border of lens will peel.Once you're done with all this it stick pretty dang well. The only thing I'd recommend is making sure to use compressed air to blow out any specks of duck prior to installing the lens. After you install it, using additional heat from a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up and then gentle press it down more (this will active the adhesive and even it out). I'd recommend this lens if you're looking to replace your old one.

Huge upgrade from the original screen as I could easily scratch it with my fingernail. Since this is actually glass it's a lot harder to scratch.

Installation was super easy. Just heat your old lens up slightly with a hair dryer, apply a suction cup and with on pull your old lens should easily pop off. Remember to remove the old glue residue with a cotton swab and blow any dust off the screen before you apply the new lens. Total install time should be 2 or 3 minutes. The lens quality was really nice, perfect fit and finish. Definitely recommend this.

It's glass, which is nice, but the blue tint is very noticeable. It's across the entire pane, so both the screen and the border are miscolored.

Very nice glass replacement for the cheap original plastic lense cover. Few seconds with a heat gun and a suction cup and the old one pops right off. Just make sure you clean up any remaining adhesive and fingerprints or dust before you apply the replacement. My red one is a perfect match to the original as far as color goes. Very happy. Highly recommend if you have a scratched up screen.

I have bought this multiple times in hope of getting one that didn't contain imperfections in the glass, but it seems that it always does in the SAME spot. there is a white dot that in the grand scheme of things isn't large, but once noticeable, I CAN'T ignore. I'm gonna order a couple more in hopes that it doesn't happen but if it does, I will update this reviewThese glass screen has minor imperfections, buy elsewhere if you can
