I ordered the blue version and I'm very happy with them. The color shown in the product description photos is accurate. The two glass globes I received match each-other fairly closely. They are slightly less blue than in photos, but not too much. When the bulbs are turned on, the center of the glass turns almost white, but the blue still shows at the top & bottom (again, just like the product photo shows). They allow a lot of light to pass thru into our kitchen (which is a good thing). Lastly the price was very reasonable, they came well packaged in dense foam, and I like the cylindrical shape which is different than the common tear-drop pendants.

I bought a pole lamp that is very nice, but the "shades" are open vertical metal strips; even with the light on low, and even with very low wattage bulbs, the light is too bright. I needed new shades, saw these, which after measuring I knew would work, and ordered. The price was very good. These are definitely glass shades of very good quality; the glass is thick and sturdy. The glass is frosted, and they hang a bit lower than the old "shades," and the light they let through is now PERFECT! Low to high, we can be in the same room and not have light blindness, you know, that big yellow dot that takes a while to go away? These shades are very well made, smooth and aesthetically pleasing, and placing them on the pole was easy. They are very functional. I love everything about them except the color, and I am growing to like it, too. And, they could always be covered with colored paper or maybe even painted. These were the only shades I could find in a hurry that fit my lamp, and I am actually delighted to have them. I recommend these without hesitation.

Beautiful! Not paper thin so easy to handle. Light is still bright, just a little muted, as desired.
