This is my second purchase of this product. As with our current carafe, the first one we used daily for over 5 years and definitely worth the purchase. Easy twist top to screw/unscrew and easy pour. We fill it up with boiling water once in the morning and use it all day for hot drinks. This is worth the money!

I bought this for more $$ than others based on reviews and features. Very happy with it!Keeps coffee hot longer than our old glass thermos carafe, it pours much better, lots of room for a full coffee pot, you can take the lid apart to clean it, lid seals very well.

I was a bit cautious buying this but have been incredibly pleased at how well it keeps my drinks the temperature I want them! Winter time I want my coffee hot and Summer I drink iced coffee.It does an amazing job keeping them the temperature I want for at least 8 hours. (I just haven't tested longer). I highly recommend this carafe! It also feels incredibly durable.

I drink a lot of water with electrolytes and like to drink the water cold. I was filling up two smaller insulated cups to fill a larger cup but was constantly running out of water throughout the evening. Until it dawned on me to buy a large insulated pitcher. I purchased the Gint because it had good reviews and was large without being unwieldy and had a screw on lid. The mouth is large and easily filled with ice and the liquid of your choice. The pot is easy to clean with any standard sized bottle brush. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. I fill the pitcher with ice and cold water before retiring and next morning there is still ice in the pitcher. The lid does not leak and I like that you must press down on the tab before pouring so there are no accidental spills. The pitcher seems durable and is a great value for the cost. It is not flimsy but very sturdy. I'm sure since it keeps water ice cold it would be versatile enough to keep coffee, tea or just water piping hot too.

The GiNT Stainless Steel Thermal Carafe met my expectations. The vessel has a solid feel, good heft, and appears to be made well. It keeps my coffee hot up to about 6 hours before I need to think of a microwave reheat. Easily holds up to 12 Mr.Coffee cups of my favorite beverage, and makes a neat pour. No slop. The carafe is a handsome, professional-looking pot, one that when you look at it, tells you your beverage is keeping temperature.

I had *just* paid an automotive detailer $500 to detail my car in anticipation of a road trip. About two hours into the trip I went to refill my travel mug only to find that the carafe was empty. An entire pot of coffee was now soaked into the carpet and pad by my feet and it happened slowly enough that I didn't notice.As a desktop/tabletop carafe, it really does work well. I make my first pot around 5AM and it's still hot enough when I finish it off at 10AM. It suits my household needs very, VERY well, but I'll never take it on another trip. I do appreciate the generous size and it perfectly holds the 10 cup pot of coffee right at the base of the seal.If you're looking for a household carafe, this one performs very well, but it's not a travel thermos. For that, I'd give it 4 starts and move on happily, BUT my big complaint is that I purchased a carafe that claimed to be 1.9 liters. When measured right up the the top of the stainless, it's only 1.6 liters. And that's being very generous. At 1.6 liters exactly, the lid presses down into the liquid a bit. It won't accept another drop.

Update: I was contacted directly by company via phone (apparently they googled my phone number). I did feel that was somewhat intrusive and honestly I did not like it. I wish they would have contacted mr through Amazon but I guess they really want the customer to be happy. Anyway..... they sent me a new carafe. I have run it through a couple tests and it does keep my coffee hotter and for a longer time. I did notice that you can hear air leaking from the first one but I do not hear it with this one. They do advertise heat retention for 12 hours but if you are removing the beverage periodically (which is how it is intended to be used) heat retention is limited to 3-5 hours based on my tests.I have learned that warming the pony with hot water before using greatly extends heat retention time.Does not keep coffee hot. Coffee is barely warm in less than 30 min. Very disappointed.

Had this for 2 months now (hence cannot comment on durabiliy) however it is used weekly to make multople cups (20) of coffee at a small social club. Has been very useful, easy to pour from, keeps the coffee hot and easy to clean.
