I love the finish on this. It is shiny plastic that looks like the porcelain toilet. That said, if used as a step stool for a child to reach the sink, they might slip off it, unless barefoot or wearing shoes. The hole in the middle makes it easy to lift, and the height is perfect. I'm very glad I chose this one!

Seriously just buy it and try it. When you have those days that it just wonโt come out put your feet up on this and prepare to feel relief !

This stool is great. It's deeper than the other potty stool, so much easier for kiddos to use it (our toilets are tall). Finish is nice because it looks similar to the white porcelain bowl. Definitely looks more high end compared to other similar products that work, but just look like cheap plastic. Again, I'll mention the depth. Young potty training kids, a good stool is a must. Would definitely recommend.
