05 2500hd pickup 6.0 with 207k miles. All of the sudden, AC started having an issue where it would blow cold for a few minutes after start up, then the compressor would turn off. I disconnected the wire to the pressure switch, and I used a jumper wire to bypass the switch to see if the compressor would kick back on. Thankfully it did. I bought the new switch and had working AC again within a minute of opening the package.Remove wireRemove old switch with 16 mm wrench.Change out the o-ringPut on new switchReconnect wireTell wife to fetch you a beer.

lots of fake ac delco on amazon this appears to look and function as a new oem part let’s hope it last the aftermarket ones last not even 1 whole season of spring and summer very frustrating

This is the original equipment part for the vehicle. I do not know why it said it would NOT fit my vehicle when in fact it does. I installed it and it fixed the cycling compressor issue.

Easy to install and stopped my intermittent ac issue. Ac would work great and would suddenly stop working . Had it recharged and that didn’t help . Found out that the part was failing . Cheap and easy fix !

Part fits 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L Z71 Crew Cab. This part is also referred to as the low pressure sensor. Comes with the o-ring and only needs 16mm wrench to remove/replace. Works as designed.

This item was very easy to install (took about a min.). It does come with the O-ring. So far it has fixed it issue of the compressor not turning on. I will update if/when the item fails.
