Genuine GE part, in new condition unfortunately the diameter was too large to fit through the round insulators on my dryer. This coil is 1/2” my old coil is 7/16”. Wish this was pointed out in the description. A helpful reviewer suggested WE11X10007 for 7/16” coil, I will give that one a try. I decided to try this part without insulators as mine appear fine to save a few bucks. Just wasted time.

It didn't fit my dryer as I ordered the wrong one. However it looks as good as the correct one for mine. The one for mine installed easily and I'd expect this one to as well.

this was an exact fit to the one i took out of my dryer. this element comes in a condensed state, and you have to carefully stretch out and attach to the heating element holding eyelets.

What can I say its a dryer element. I had to purchase this product twice but I now know the reason why so I will share to maybe help someone else. Our element randomly burned out one day, its an old dryer so didn't think much of it. Took it apart cleaned it out, tried to clean out the vent to the outside and all seemed fine, put it back together and it worked perfectly, for a month... Ordered a second one and this time got serious about cleaning out the vent to the outside, purchased a brush that extends 12 feet and attaches to a drill, went at it from both sides but couldn't reach all the way, my vent is obscenely long. Got under the house and took apart the 4 foot sections one by one and ran the brush through it, all in all removed almost 2 grocery sacks of lint. Moral of the story is if yours burnt out you need to make sure and clean your outside vent thoroughly otherwise this could be a waste of money.

I ordered this item for a GE dryer that matched the model listed on Amazon. A GE professional and licensed repair man came to replace the part, and it did not fit. The diameter was too wide, and unfortunately the 30 day window to return it expired.

So far so good. Installed new coil assembly about a month ago. Working great. I'll give it 5 stars if it lasts at least 2 years.

I purchased this to fix a dryer for a family member. This is the part number that a popular appliance repair site specified. However, this dryer is very old and has "donut" type insulators which are too small for this coil to fit through (the original coil is smaller). Evidently this dryer requires a full assembly at $85+Now I'm stuck with a $20 part that I can't use and presumably can't return since I have already stretched it out.

This element fit my dryer perfectly and my husband and I replaced the old one quite easily. The instructions were quite clear. The dryer works great now and that makes me happy. I was also very pleased with the speed of delivery and the ease in locating the part.
