I really like how this balaclava provides solid UV protection while skiing. It fits well and keeps my face warm without feeling too tight. Perfect for outdoor activities!

I was hoping for more with this face mask. The material is very thin and that’s probably how it qualifies as being breathable. The stitching on it is not the best and does not have a nice uniform look. It feels cheaply made, and I don’t expect it to last very long.

This cover fits, but it's a little loose, which might allow cold air to seep in. The material is quite thin, so I’m not sure how warm my face will feel while skiing. The top is also a bit lumpy, which affects the overall appearance. The biggest downside is that it had a noticeable cigarette smell right out of the package, which was unpleasant.It does the job, but with the fit, thin material, and odor issues, it's not perfect. I’m giving it 2 stars because it works, but I expected better.

This is a good, thin, and lightweight balaclava.It would be nice if it covered a little more neck area, but that is more of a personal preference than a fault.This material is preferred by most in our family - except for the males as the stubble from facial hair can catch this material and apparently can be bothersome.The logo is a bit egregious in our opinion, but the performance works for us.

It's been a particularly cold winter where I live, and I decided to get a balaclava to keep my face warm when I'm walking the dog in the cold mornings. This one is super soft and feels like silk! Much softer than I anticipated. It has the GDM logo in gold on the left temple and kind of gives it a warrior look. It can be worn as a face mask, a neck gaiter or mask. An excellent product and very inexpensive, and oh so soft!

This balaclava is ridiculously lightweight—feels like wearing almost nothing, which is great if you just need a thin layer for wind or sun protection. It fits snug without being too tight, and the material is breathable enough that you don’t feel like you’re suffocating. Definitely a solid pick for warmer rides or under a helmet.That said, it’s not the warmest option out there. If you’re planning to use this in freezing temps, you’ll probably want something thicker or to layer it with another face covering. But for blocking dust, bugs, and sun while riding or skiing, it does the job without making you overheat.Overall, it’s a good lightweight balaclava that’s comfortable and easy to pack. Just know that it’s more about coverage than insulation, so if you need serious warmth, look elsewhere.
