What kind of power cable and transformer should I need?
e.g Suppose there is a set of 4 well lights (each 5W) and 2 path lights (each 3W) that need to be installed in the garden, How do you choose the cable and the transformer?
1. Add the individual light fixture wattages for all lights. 4*5W+2*3W=26W
2. The typical distance between two lights is 6-8 feet, but closer or farther is ok too. Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable.
3. The transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough.
Note:
- Projection： Beam angle is not limited by the product, you can choose different angles of the bulb according to different use scenarios.
- Working： The working voltage is 9~17V, so the spotlight usually needs to be connected to a 12V transformer to work properly.

I recently installed these landscape lights in my front yard, and I am quite impressed with the results. These lights are well made and more heavy duty than others I have installed. The outer PVC body is rugged and can be direct-buried but I installed them in a piece of 4 inch PVC DWV pipe filled with pea gravel to provide stability and drainage around the fixture. The light output level / color / pattern is 100% determined by the bulb installed. The bulbs provided are warm-white and do a good job of illuminating the trees above. I intend to try some WiFi RGB bulbs but they may have issues given they will be at or below grade. These fixtures, the bulbs provided, and the wiring are NOT ETL/UL listed. While not as big of an issue as for 120v devices, it still should go through the certification and listing process to be listed. If used in areas where low-voltage lighting systems require a permit and inspection (yes - those places exist) these may not pass the inspection due to the lack of a ETL/UL listing. One star off for the lack of a listing.

These low voltage well lights by Gardencoin are not only well built, but they look GREAT ! They use an outer can with an attached rubber wire that keeps the inner workings safe, and fully isolated from the weather. The attached wire can be hooked up straight to a low voltage transformer unit, or wired with other lights inside a weather tight junction box. The lighting fixture "can" sits in the outer can and holds the socket for the MR16 bulbs, which is quite bright. On the outside is a stainless steel ring that screws down onto the can, and tightens down the glass lens, and silicone O-ring which keeps moisture out of the lighting. The unit is quite robust and will have no problem outside in any season ! This unit is made very well and is simple to install, and there are detailed instructions included. It's quite a beautiful light, and will add to the property of your home, and requires very little power making it ideal for long runs of many lights. Sadly, after trying the light out on the bench I have fallen in love with it, and will have to wait until May before I can dig the holes...lol. What's worth having, is worth waiting for, and this is one of those situations. Easy 5 stars for quality and design !!! Worth every penny..

Preliminary review only as it will take me a few months before I have time to install these. These lights are huge. They aren't like the smaller LED well lights that you see on Amazon. Rather, they take an M16 bulb. This means that you can replace the bulbs at will and swap them out for different colors.These are well made as far as I can tell. The housing is a heavy, relatively soft plastic. The top has a ring of brushed metal and a clean glass portion that features a view of the bulb. The wiring is also nice (I don't know what gauge, but heavier than I was expecting). All told these look absolutely robust compared to LED alternatives.More to come.

I’m thoroughly impressed with these low-voltage in-ground lights! At the current price, without the coupon, they’re just over $19 each for the 6-pack. This is an incredible value for these high-quality lights, and I highly recommend them!Before deciding where to place each light, I tested them around our yard using a small transformer and an extension cord. I was immediately struck by how bright they are and how evenly the light projects from the fixture. Some of my included pictures were taken indoors next to a wall to demonstrate how smoothly the light projects onto surfaces. I love that these lights have replaceable bulbs, and the bulbs provided are dimmable if you connect them to a dimmable transformer. I also took the lights apart and noticed that the bulb used in these seems to be of high qualitywith aluminum heat sink fins all the way around.Since I wasn’t planning to dim the lights using a dimmer and a dimmable transformer, but wanted the flexibility to adjust them as needed, I decided to purchase the Gardencoin smart color-changing bulbs. This way, I can individually control the light color, white temperature, and brightness for each light, creating the perfect ambiance for each location. I can even change colors for holidays and special occasions.Replacing the bulbs is a breeze, and during the process, I noticed how thick the glass lens on the fixture housing is. It’s quite substantial, so it should withstand a lot The silicon gasket is also substantial, and the stainless steel outer ring is thick and sturdy. The body of the fixtures is also well-built, made from thick plastic, metal, and it includes a substantial power cable. I appreciate that they also include waterproof wire nuts with these lights.Overall, these are fantastic lights at an exceptional price, and I’m thoroughly impressed by their exceptional quality!
