This is a fabulous collection of seeds! I took off one star for packet size on the more bulky, expensive, and caloric seeds, such as beans, squash, and corn(The stuff that actually feeds you if you have to live off your garden...) However, to be fair, these guys are packing similar to their competitors. I haven't found a survival seed pack yet, that actually provides enough seed for actual survival! Also, they have reduced their number of packets this year, which I am assuming is due to cost. That being said, this is a fantastic set for the price! The seeds GERMINATE! The seeds grow! See my pictures of the Long White Bush squash, and the yellow zucchini! Also, unlike many of the other competitors this pack HAS the actual high calorie veggies that will feed you in an emergency. Any so-called survival package that does not have beans, corn, and winter squash is useless for survival. It might make you healthier from day to day, but it will NOT feed you! This Garden Seed Pack will feed you!I just purchased my third one for my house, and I have purchased one for all my kids! This is a great set for beginners! The varieties are high quality! The flavors are excellent! I have been homesteading for years, and have been growing heirlooms only for most of that time! This Garden Seed Pack is a GREAT deal!My suggestion is to buy a few. One to grow, and two to throw in the fridge for the future! If you are a beginner, make sure and study the plants you are planting. One hint is to take the variety list, and glue it to the box lid, that way you always have a reference! Also, remember that gardening is a practice! It takes time to learn the rules! In other words, failures are rarely the seed's fault! Usually it is a watering problem, or light problem, or pest problem, NOT the seed! These seeds are packaged in airtight packets that will keep fresh for a very long time in the refrigerator. The box is compact, and easy to store. The varieties are amazing! That white squash will blow your mind BTW!

This pack is great! Bought it on sale, figured I would try it for my first year starting seeds in my new greenhouse. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed when everything I planted grew. I mean every seed I put in soil came up and the plants look amazing! Will be buying again!

I waited a year to write this review. I am very happy to say I had about 99% germinate! I planted flowers, veggies and the herbs. I over planted thinking germination would be crap. I have blooms and seedlings. Really I planted too many. But I am overall satisfied with these seeds. Mine came with a booklet with beautiful pictures and info about each seed. Overall best bang for your buck if you are open to a variety. Some common seeds and some not so common. I plant veggies herbs and flowers together in my planters. I think this is a perfect gift for gardeners.

I've only started last week with lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, basil. I'm new to this. The day after I started, I realized you're only supposed to put 2-3 seeds. I probably put 5+ in a pod lol. I proceeded to take few of them out. Omg... All of the Lettuce had started sprouting!!! I had such a had time picking which one to keep. The day after, Got baby greens the day after. Pic taken 9 days after started.
